publicly accessible personal journal for an individual.

Online ChatO Real-time communication between

two users via computer.O Once a chat has been initiated, either

user can enter text by typing on the keyboard and the entered text will appear on the other user's monitor.

Social BookmarkingO It is tagging a website and saving it

for later. Instead of saving them to your web browser, you are saving them to the web.

URLO Uniform Resource Locator.O  it is the global

address of documents and other resources on the World Wide.

 

StreamingO Streaming or media streaming is a

technique for transferring data so that it can be processed as a steady and continuous stream. 

PodcastO Podcasting is similar in nature

to RSS, which allows subscribers to subscribe to a set of feeds to view syndicated Web site content.

O Podcasts are digital media files which are produced in a series. 

VoIPO Short

for Voice over Internet Protocol.O  Is an IP telephony term for a set of

facilities used to manage the delivery of voice information over the Internet.

WikiO A collaborative Web site comprises

the perpetual collective work of many authors.

O wiki allows anyone to edit, delete or modify content that has been placed on the Web site using a browser interface.

Social NetworkingO A social structure made

of nodes that are generally individuals or organizations.

O A social network represents relationships and flows between people, groups, organizations, animals, computers or other information/knowledge processing entities. 

WWWO A technical definition of the World

Wide Web is: all the resources and users on the Internet that are using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol.

HTMLO HyperText Markup LanguageO the authoring language used to

create documents on the World Wide Web.

Web FeedO A web feed lets websites

continuously "feed" you notices of their new content.
