PTZ Camera Remote ControlsA single Asystems’ PTZ camera remote control provides complete and full control of up to 5 Asystems MK20HD cameras or up to 100 MK20HD Plus cameras (model dependent). They offer variable pan, tilt, zoom and focus speed controls using the onboard levers. The onboard Y-axis joystick is reversible for versatile and intuitive control. The MK20RC connects via standard RS-422 or RS-485 protocols enabling control from up to 3200 feet away, while the MK20RC Plus and MK25RC can operate through your local area network at any reasonable distance.

Preset Memory Data

No situation will catch you off guard with this function.Up to 50 preset memories can be registered, stored and easily recalled for later use with just one push of a button. The MK20RC Plus features up to 250 presets (1000 with the MK25RC) with 10 independent preset slots for each of the cameras controlled by the unit. This includes 8 hotkeys for quick recall and 2 fully-loaded preset slots.

Tally Light Indicators

MK20RC and MK20RC Plus offer PGM and PVW tally light indicators on each connected camera for an easy and intuitive operation.

Communication Port Select Switch

The MK20RC features a Communication Port Select Switch for instant switch between RS422 and RS485 standard serial interfaces allowing point-to-point mode or daisy-chain mode.

Wide Range of Compatibility

The MK20RC, MK20RC Plus and MK25RC support the RS-422, RS-485 and VISCA remote protocols, making it compatible with a large range of available remote camera models. This allows for easy implementation into existing setups without having to worry about future PTZ camera upgrades or compatibility issues.

PoE (MK20RC Plus and MK25RC only)

Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a way to power devices through an Ethernet connection. This same port is also utilized to control the IP-enabled PTZ cameras within your network. Along with providing stable network connections, PoE also makes installation easier by only requiring only a single cable for control and power.

IP and Serial Connections

Asystems' MK20HD offers both RS-422 and RS-485 connectivity for serial connection of up to five independent PTZ cameras through the MK20RC and MK20RC Plus. Featuring LAN connectivity, the MK20HD Plus allows for up to 100 cameras to be connected with the MK25RC (25 cameras with the MK20RC Plus) through your local area network.

Camera Matrix Setup Manager

The Asystems IP Camera Matrix Setup Manager can be utilized to configure the MK20RC Plus and MK25RC PTZ controllers plus the MK20HD Plus cameras. Available on the Asystems website, this software is used to quick and easily search your local area network (LAN) for compatible devices and allow users to simply assign cameras to controllers. Configure your system once and settings will remain until changed manually later.

The MK20RC is a simple yet control center for your PTZ camera setup. With Asystems’ MK20RC, a single unit can control up to 5 Asystems MK20HD PTZ cameras (MK20HD, MK20HD Plus or MK20W). The remote control grants users full control of the cameras, and camera functions including pan/tilt, zoom, focus, iris, gain, pedestal, shutter, and white balance can be adjusted remotely via the device. Ergonomically designed, plus the compact half-rack size and light weight body make MK20RC ideal for remote production crews that are often on the run, as well as traditional application in auditoriums, concerts, studios, reality shows, and educational facilities.

The MK25RC is the ultimate remote control and center for your PTZ camera setup. A single MK25RC can control up to 100 individual IP cameras (such as the Asystems MK20HD Plus), and each camera can have its own user-set tour path making it an ideal control center for security systems. The unit isn't limited to that, however, giving users an extra multi-view screen allowing for more enhanced production while its light weight and PoE powering option ensures mobile production crews can make use of its fantastic features without having to mess with adapters. Video signals are sent to the MK25RC through Wi-Fi from compatible Asystems IP cameras in high definition for either monitoring (through built-in screen or connected multi-view monitor) or even HD recording to SD cards. So whether setting up an elaborate security system or building a production-ready system, the MK25RC is a necessary component in your system.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Whi le the MK25RC features POE connectivity and thus can be powered through a router, the unit also has integrated Wi-Fi that allows both control and video transmission through your wireless local area network. Connect all of your applicable MK20HD Plus cameras to your hub and wireless connect the MK25RC through the settings. Video from your setup cameras is transferred in full HD to the control unit, able to be sent to the multi-view display or recorded to an SD card.

Multi-View

The MK25RC features an HDMI output connector for a user-determined multi-view display. Connecting up to 100 IP cameras to the unit allows for a lot of options for viewing and the MK25RC gives the user the option to customize their view screen.

Connect HID Flight Stick

A USB connection allows for the connection of a third-party HID USB-compliant flight stick to allow for much simple control of cameras. Connect the flight stick to the MK25RC's rear-panel USB port and you're good to go.

PTZ CamerasAsystems offers the MK20HD, MK20HD Plus and MK20W multi-directional full high-definition camera for use with the AV series video switchers and editing consoles. The units offer real-time PTZ with wide rotation angle as well as a 30x optical zoom. Output connection is achieved via CAT 5 digital video in SDI and HDMI formats. Each model also supports HD-SDI. The cameras can be controlled via RS422, RS485 and LAN protocols (model dependent) and are compatible with the Asystems MK20RC and MK20RC Plus remote control.

The MK20HD Plus, include an additional RJ-45 LAN port for IP connection - that also supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) - guaranteeing that this HD remote PTZ camera fits perfectly into any and all kinds of system setup and future upgrade. The MK20W further offers a wide-angled lens for enhanced peripheral vision.

All Asystems PTZ camera models utilize a direct drive motor mechanism for achieving high-speed, quiet, and smooth P/T operations to capture images. These cameras cover a wide shooting range, ideal for capturing extensive areas where face-to-face discussions are critical. The Asystems MK series of PTZ cameras features an image flip function allowing users to vertically flip the camera's image on the camera itself. VISCA Protocol Support

The MK20HD, MK20HD Plus and MK20W fully supports the VISCA remote protocol for serial communication, making it compatible with many existing PTZ camera remote controllers. This allows for stress free implementation into existing setups.

Flexible Installation

Every Asystems' PTZ camera comes with a ceiling mount, so aside from your standard desktop installation, now you can also mount the camera in locations that are typically too small for larger cameras. Asystems PTZ cameras are compatible with 3rd party VESA mount brackets.

Control up to 25 individual MK20HD Plus cameras through your LAN using a single MK20RC Plus controller. Up to 3 independent controllers can be utilized on a LAN meaning a grand total of 75 PTZ cameras can be utilized within a single local area network. Cameras and controllers are setup using the Asystems IP Camera Matrix Setup Manager software. The MK25RC allows for a total of 100 cameras with a single controller unit.

Multi-Zoom Function

The Multi-Zoom function allows the user to zoom in on a particular object or section of a video source to be viewed on the Multiview screen which can then be outputted as a single independent video source. This ability lets you create the illusion of a multi-camera shoot with just one single video camera.

As an added advantage, Multi-Zoom is routed internally and can be achieved without the need of BNC jumper cables patched from channel to the next (usually done via a thru-put).

Dynamic Keyer

Featuring scalers that allow user to scale each input source independently. This function takes in any input source resolution and adjusts to any size ratio accordingly.

Video SwitchersAsystems video switchers are configurable multi-format, high definition video switchers, audio mixers, frame synchronizers and digital effect units that support 1080p/720p HDMI and 3G-SDI formats. This means that you can mix and match video formats as you see fit, without the need to adjust video size, resolution, or scale.

Asystems video switchers come with built-in camera control for a single PTZ camera, as well as remote programming through DB-9 RS232 COM port. Using the intuitive control panel, you can scale, stretch, crop and zoom as required.

The video and audio signals on the video switchers are carried through CATx cables without trading off in picture fidelity and multi-source inputs can accept between HDMI, HDMI and SDI. Input source mix ratio is flexible enough to adapt each unique setup requirement.


Transitions and Digital Effects

Selecting transition patterns is as easy as pressing an icon-marked button. You can also set the length of transition times precisely by using either seconds or frames.

Loads of wipe patterns with effects like chroma key, picture in picture (PIP), downstream key (DSK) and fading in and out will make your videos look professional and sophisticated with minimum amount of effort.

HD Video Streaming

The LAN video streaming connector on the back of select video switchers outputs video at 1080p at 30fps HD recording without any additional high-end HD video recording equipment, coupled with a camera or camcorder, you are ready to broadcast instantly, perfect for houses of worship, satellite new gathering vehicles and video bloggers.

Featuring 16:9 scalers that allow user to scale each input source independently. This function takes in any input source resolution and adjusts to any size accordingly. This function allows for image overscanning, allowing operators to film wider program than actually required only to later filter out unwanted edges.

True Multi-Format Support

Our video matrix products support video signals up to 1080p60 resolution. There's no need to match input signals as our internal scalers convert most video sources to the optimal resolution. Each model supports SDI, HDMI and CATx HDMI through standard and RJ-45 connectors.

Asystems introduces a new model to its switcher lineup, the AV500HD Compact Switcher with a built-in audio mixer, frame synchronizer and 300GB of internal storage. Equipped with a variety of standard interfaces, the AV500HD can accept sources from SDI and HDMI inputs. The on board 7” capacitive touch monitor with 1024 x 600 ppi simplifies the traditional control interface for a more clear and intuitive setting adjustment and operation. 2-Channel Video Switcher

Aside from webcam streaming, the Input button on the front panel act as a transition button switching between your HDMI and SDI sources.
