Anonymous ForumsAnonymous feedback should be considered as a lastresort; however, if you would like to anonymouslycontact senior leadership, we have several forumsavailable to accomplish this. From the BVLnet homepage, employees will find the Anonymous SubmissionForm, compliance e-mail address and the telephonenumber for the BI Compliance help line.

Regardless of the anonymous forum utilized, you canrest assured that your personal information will bekept in the strictest confidence.

The BVL News column contains information specific to BVLemployees and is published by the BVL Communications & PRDepartment. Our news is divided into two categories: BVLBulletins and Organizational Announcements. BVL Bulletins coveritems such as corporate policy changes, compliance updates,Quicken Loans Arena raffle winners, safety tips and more.Organizational Announcements provide information about newhires, employee transfers or departures or departmentalrestructuring. Be sure to check this section daily to ensure youcatch all the latest news!

ConnectVision

In addition to the nearly 20 monitors throughoutthe facility and our standard desktop screen saver,ConnectVision is also on the BVLnet home page.You can watch the slides as they play or manuallyscroll through them at your own speed by clickingthe arrows at the bottom of the slide.

Quick Poll

Quick Poll has quickly become a “must click” for many employees.Displayed just above the BVL News section, Quick Poll providesemployees an opportunity to give their opinion or simply test theirknowledge. After answering the poll, a summary of how othercolleagues have answered is provided. Information received fromQuick Poll gives the site a handle on how employees generally feelabout a wide-range of important topics or initiatives.

Your Voice

Compliance is vitally important to BI /BVL. There are several forums throughwhich you can share concerns,suggestions and / or feedback. YourVoice is on the home page to ensureyou are able to find this information anytime you need it. You are encouragedto ask questions and seek guidancewhen uncertain about a task or practice,whether you do so through a direct oranonymous forum. Compliance iscritical to our success!

Quick Access Menu

Navigating the BI intranet can be overwhelming. The Quick Accessmenu provides a method to find the most commonly accesseditems on BVLnet. The top three drop-down menus take you tovarious BI external and internal Web sites. The bottom three arespecific to BVL employees. They include Quick Links to the mostcommonly used pages, HR links and Web Applications.

Search & Find

Search and find information on BVLnet or any of the BI intranets.This toolbar defaults to searching BVLnet unless you change theradio button to search all intranets. Simply type your search wordin the field provided and click Go! Can’t find what you are lookingfor? Go to Advanced Search and try again.

Navigation Bar

Information on BVLnet is separated into11 categories called topics. The itemsthat are most useful in performing day-to-day operations have been circled tothe right for easy reference. The othertopics provided are generally accessedless or maintained outside of BVLCommunications & PR.

Lead & Learn

BVLnet Home PageYou can access ConnectVision from theBVLnet home page. Watch the slides in twosizes and catch up on valuable information.Use the Click to view large screen link to openConnectVision in a larger window.

Screen SaverEvery BVL computer should have theConnectVision screen saver loaded. Sowhether you are caught on a conference call,sitting at your desk eating lunch or simply havedown time, you can watch ConnectVision fromyour screen saver and view the sameinformation playing throughout the facility.

No matter how you accessConnectVision, you are guaranteed tostay well connected!

With so many employees continually on the go, ConnectVision uses moderntechnology to keep employees connected regardless of where they are workingfor the day. ConnectVision monitors have been placed in Break Rooms, theBVL Cafe, Quality & Development Center, Treat Road Warehouse, Packaging,Legal/Communications, HR, Phase V and the Learning & Development Center.

External Information

ConnectVision can provide external information such as weather, date / timeand local, national or international news to keep you informed on externalconditions throughout the day.

Department Specific

Several of the monitors can be used to display department-specific informationat management discretion. Some of these departments include Packaging,Warehouse and Legal/Communications.

All-Company Information

This information can be employee-centric, such as marriages, births or positiontransfers / promotions, or site-specific, such as visitors, upcoming events, thecafe menu. To have information posted, contact a member of theCommunications & PR Department.

BVL has a history of working in short- and long-term groups to get results. In addition,people join together in extra-curricular teams to help shape our culture and build moraleacross the site. The efforts of these teams often fall outside the daily responsibilities ofan employee’s position. These opportunities allow employees to network with newemployees, use additional talents that may not be fully utilized in their position, or evenprovide the opportunity to gain new skill sets.

After getting acclimated with BVL, employees are encouraged to find a group or team toget involved with. There are many ways to learn about the groups available; however, ifyou are having trouble picking a team or simply don’t know how to begin, contactCommunications and PR for more information. Every quarter, all-employee meetings areheld at various times during the day toshare a state-of-the-company address.Common topics include upcoming events,compliance, regulatory status, site metrics,financial results, team updates and more!

Employee MeetingsEmployee Meetings

Every quarter employees have the opportunity to volunteer for C.O.N.N.E.C.T. withLeadership. Over a meal with a senior leader, employees can share their thoughts, ideasand concerns in a small-group setting. Once employees submit their interest throughBVLnet, they are randomly assigned to a member of the SeniorLeadership Team and invited to attend a meal.

The goal of these sessions is to create an environmentwhere employees of all departments and positions cancome together to discuss real issues. Out of each session,great ideas are gathered, ideas are implemented and change happens—all because employees and senior leadership come together.
