Coming Up This Week
This morning we have the pleasure of officially welcoming
several new members to our church family. They are Terri
Gulyas, Sue and Allen Russell, and the Shoemaker family
(Joe, Brittany, Oliver, and Colton). Be sure to say “hello”
during Coffee Fellowship Time and then watch for more
biographical information about each of them in upcoming
editions of our Weekly Newsletters.
Can you help with our Church Spring Clean-up this morning? Right after worship, volunteers will begin various projects around our church building and property to freshen things up after winter. A light lunch will be shared after an hour or two of activities. Everyone’s encouraged to do just a little to help out. When the postlude is done, see Scott McPherson to find out how you can help around our church home.
Did you see your June Monthly Newsletter by email last week? If you’re not getting
church emails, contact the office to get your email address updated or added. You can also pick up a copy at the Welcome Center. Find all our church information by visiting our web-site at www.firstunitedpc.org. Be sure you don’t miss a thing!

Vacation Bible School 2019 - ROAR! - is set for July 21 through 25, but the time to register is now. Get your kids plus their friends and neighbors signed up online through our church website at www.firstunitedpc.org. As an extra incentive, the first ten families to register will win a FREE CD of the music from ROAR! We’re also seeking lots of adult and teen volunteers to help make the magic happen, so register for that online too. Plan for fun today!
While our wonderful music groups take a summer break, it’s your
chance to share your gift of music. We’ve already enjoyed several
musical gifts, but the schedule is filling up quickly. If you’d like to
enhance our worship, contact Andy Parks or Julie Mackey to
reserve a date. You can find the master list in our Music Room.
Time to get out your old bicycle for our weekly Sunday Bike Rides. You’re invited to join the gang beginning this afternoon at 4pm at the Fox Point Boat Launch in De Pere to ride the Fox River Trail. Rides usually last about an hour at a pace decided by the riders each week. Future locations will rotate. Get the full schedule at our website (www.firstunitedpc.org) or contact Becky Nyberg at 920-606-6438 for more details.

More Stuff You Should Know…
† Thanks for your support of the recent Youth Coffee Shop Bake Sale, the Presbyterian Women’s Used Book Sale that wrapped up on May 19, and the Memorial Garden donations given the last few weeks. Our Men’s Club would also like to thank everyone who stopped by to enjoy their annual Memorial Day Weekend Brat Sale fundraiser. Again and again, our church family shows how much they care (and enjoy food!). Thanks to everyone! † The Presbyterian Women’s Christmas in July event is coming on Saturday, July 13. Tickets for this special event will go on sale this morning. Would you like to decorate a table for six at this event? Table design registration forms are available on the Presbyterian Women’s bulletin board in the Family Life Center. Don’t wait. Get your tickets and sign up to decorate a table soon! †The Presbyterian Pantry “Item of the Month” for June is toilet paper. Please drop off donations all month in the Family Life Center. † Have you checked out our Facebook page lately? Please “like” our posts, share links with all your friends, and add your own posts about church. Help share our story and invite others to join us. † You’ve probably heard that many participating businesses will share 2 to 5% of your purchase amount with our church through HuTerra. You can download an app to participate directly, or you can just drop off your recent receipts (no more than 45 days old) in the container in our Family Life Center. Ruling Elder Tori England will sort through them and submit all that are from participating businesses. Thanks to everyone who has already started dropping off receipts. If you’d like more details about the program, contact Tori England or Ken Nyberg.
Our Church Softball League will begin its season tonight at Cornerstone Center in Ashwaubenon. We’re joining with folks from First Presbyterian Green Bay to form a team, but we’re still looking for more players! Our team will compete against Spring Lake this evening at 6:45pm on field #1. Contact Troy Gutzman at 920-241-9722 if you have questions or would like to join the fun this season!
We’re excited that our Agape Dinner Team has decided to continue
with some lighter meals throughout the summer. Our June Agape
Dinner is set for Wednesday at 5:45pm. We could still use some
helpers for serving and clean-up. If you can help, please sign up on the
bulletin board in the Family Life Center. Be sure to bring your family,
invite your friends and neighbors, and help us share the love! If you’d
like to offer your financial support at any time, drop your donations into the wooden
box in front of that bulletin board.
