Representing a massive leap forward in motor control capability, TeSys®

Model U combines the proven benefits of a robust electro-mechanicaldevice with the flexibility and sophistication of electronic technology.

TeSys® Model U is a motor starter-controller complying with CSA22.2 no14Type “E” and UL508E. It combines the functionality of disconnect/isolation, short circuit protection, power switching (contactor) and electronicmotor protection, in a compact 45mm wide device right up to 32A. Even areversing starter is only 45mm wide with TeSys® Model U!

TeSys® Model U’s plug-and-play technology allows assembly and wiring ofthe panel before selection of motor protection parameters and controlvoltage. Changing the starter’s capability can be achieved in seconds,thanks to plug-in function modules.

From faster panel design, reduced build and wiring time, right through tosystem fault diagnostics and easy upgrading as the application evolves,TeSys® Model U’s emphasis is on reduced cost of ownership throughout theproduct life cycle.
