Norway will until 2020 reduce global emissions of greenhouse gases equivalent to 30% of Norway's emissions in 1990.

Norway will sharpen climate goals to match cuts in emissions of 40 percent by 2020 compared to 1990 levels, if it can help to agree on an ambitious climate agreement in which the major emitting countries undertake specific commitments.
