Spanish food is one of the best diets of the world. It’s characteris6c for being complete, healthy and
delicious. We have a Mediterrean Diet with many ingredients like vegetables, fruits, fish and pasta. It’s wonderful for our mental health and it helps to prevent heart diseases and reduce the risk of death
from cancer and other illnes.
In Spain, we o,en eat fruit as a dessert and eat tradi3onal Spanish pastries and cakes for breakfast or "merienda" rather than as a dessert. We offer typical desserts like “ensaimadas”, chocolate with “churros”, french toasts (torrijas) and flans.
These are one of the most 3pical foods in Seville, and in any restaurant, you can find lots of different «tapas» which are made of many ingredients. The most famous tapas that we have are: Salted almonds, croqueMes, ham, cheese and the one we like most, «salmorejo».
The most typical breakfast in Spain, is a toast with olive oil and a piece of ham. Also, we eat a toast with olive oil too and tomato with a bit of salt. Another typical breakfast, is a
bowl with cereals with «cola cao» or a coffee.
These are one of the main ingredients in Spain, from them, we get the olive oil, which is the essence of the
mediterranean diet.
The oranges are the typical fruit of Seville. In Seville, the streets are plenty of orange trees, that have the azahar flower, it gives Seville a really quirky smell to our city.
We use oranges to make orange juice, decorate and to eat it as a dessert.
Ingredients: • Potatos • Salt • Eggs • Olive oil The quan3ty of the ingredients depend on the number of people who is going to eat it.
• 1º Step: Cut the potatoes in small pieces and put them apart for a moment.
• 2º Step: Whisk the eggs that you will put in the omeleMe, un3l it gets yellow.
• 3º Step: Fry for a liMle 3me the potatoes with a bit of olive oil, and then put them appart.
• 4º Step: Mix the potatos with the whisked eggs.
• 5º Step: Put a bit of oil in the pan, and put it at a high temperature. • 6º Step: Put the mix in the pan and let it fry for 2 or 3 minutes • 7º Step: Flip the omeleMe to fry the other side and let it fry for another 3 minutes
• 8º Step: Now you’re ready to eat it! :’D
• 7-‐8 tomatoes (1 kg) • 1 green pepper • 1 cucumber • 1 clove garlic • 1 spoon of salt • 3 spoons of olive oil • 3 spoons of vinegar • water
• 1ºStep: clean the peppers, the tomatoes and the cucumber. • 2º Step: Add the cut bread (in small pieces) and the cut tomatoes (in 4 pieces) to the mixer.
• 3º Step: Cut the pepper in 4 or 5 pieces. • 4º Step: peel the garlic clove and add it with the rest of the vegetables.
• 5º Step: Cut the cucumber in 4 or 5 pieces. • 6º Step: Once you’ve cut all the vegetables, mix them. • 7º Step: Add the salt, the olive oil and the vinager and mix them for 5 seconds.
• 8º Step: Add a liMle bit of water un3l it takes the right consistency.
