For our second season, the EXR Racing Series has dramatically expanded to include a 16-race Sprint Series and a 11-race Endurance Series, including a sprint and endurance race weekend at the Laguna Seca racetrack and an international 24-hour race at a legendary racetrack in Portugal organized by Mitjet France. As a result, both EXR Sprint and Endurance champions will be determined at the finals in Las Vegas in December.

The arrive-and-drive EXR Racing Series promises great competition without any hassle, bringing real racing in fun cars to anyone with the desire to make it happen. Drivers can benefit from a full-service package for a turn-key experience, whether they choose to purchase a car, or rent one from the series.

For the customer who is looking for a complete, arrive-and-drive experience, the EXR Racing Series provides a full complement of the best equipment and any training needed to get started. The brand new fleet of EXR LV02 race cars, purpose-built tracks, excellent trackside facilities, a licensing

program, personalized coaching and skilled technicians are all supplied.

Drivers looking to add a special new vehicle to their garage can purchase a 230 horsepower EXR LV02 for their exclusive use in the series. Complete service packages are available so that driver-owners can entrust operations to our team of professionals, while focusing on enjoying their racing experience.

The EXR Racing Series was created by Romain Thievin and David Perisset, the co-founders of the wildly successful Exotics Racing experience. Professional drivers Alex Premat is the series Team Manager and Kevin Madsen is the team Race Director.

The EXR Racing Series is open to drivers of all levels. The racing school provides the education that ensures everyone has an enjoyable racing experience.

Successful graduates of our 3-day training programs receive a provisional SCCA Pro license. Our racing instruction is suitable for all skill and experience

levels and includes a mix of customized coaching, along with classroom and on-track driving sessions.

Students in all school programs are coached by a team of professional racers overseen by champion driver Alex Premat.

AVAILABLE AT EXR LAS VEGAS & EXR LOS ANGELESThis is the perfect course for you to get a real taste of Racing.

You will start the day in a classroom briefing teaching you the basics of car dynamics, and after changing into your racing suits and getting a live presentation of the LV02, you will head to the skid pad for some driving exercises including threshold braking/downshifting, corner study and slalom.

After some discovery laps in one of our Porsche Cayennes, you will take part in your first lapping session, and will be able to enjoy the light weight and cornering speeds of the extremely fast LV02.

After a debrief with our coaches including some telemetry/data and video review, you will head on tack again for another session, and try to perfect you lines and braking techniques.

Following your second lapping session, a ride-along next to one of our coaches will allow you to see for yourself the capabilities of our race cars, and help you perfect your driving for your third and final session (add-ons available).

At the end of the course, a short module featuring some racing basics such as flags and passing techniques will take place and conclude your day.

ADVANCED RACING SCHOOL - SCCA APPROVEDThe 3 Day Licensing course is the best way to go from novice level to being ready to race.

The first day will be made of the same program as the Intro to Racing, fea-turing classroom, skid pad activities, 3 lapping sessions, a ride-along and a module about racing basics.

The second day, you will improve your skills and performance with 5 lapping sessions and extended debriefs, using telemetry/data and onboard video review with our first-class coaches.

It will be all about making you a faster driver, and having you maximizing the potential of the LV02. You will also work on your vision and reaction time on our Batak-Pro machine, and get to run our brand-new simulator.

Day three (morning) will be about getting you race-ready: rolling start sims and full-on race simulations will get you fit for door-to-door racing. The rest of the morning will be made of extra lapping sessions allowing you to keep on pushing your driving limits, to complete the course on a high note!

The Licensing course, if completed successfully, will allow you to take part to the EXR Series, and will also make you eligible for a provisional SCCA Pro license.

EXR LV02

The EXR LV02 is a driver’s machine. The lightweight, rear-wheel drive racing car offers a rewarding driving experience that is fun to drive all the way to the edge. Professional drivers Romain Thievin, Alexandre Pre-mat and Tristan Vautier have all put the car through its paces and they agree the car is excellent for drivers of all levels. For new competitors, the car offers the incredible opportunity to realize a childhood dream of becoming a real race car driver, while professionals will enjoy the experience of challenging the limits in this purpose-built racing machine.

“The EXR LV02 is a car that rewards great driving,” said Thievin, who put the car on the podium in his first French race with it. “It is forgiving enough for begin-ning drivers and will also grow with them as their skills improve through coaching, our racing school and ra-cing experience. It doesn’t take long to develop a real sense of confidence in the car. Professional drivers will take to it immediately.”

On its face, the LV02 is a great looking machine. Its tube-frame chassis is dressed in a sedan style body, with several sexy touring car inspired looks available

now, and more designs to come in the future.

Inside the spacious interior, the quality of the construc-tion is evident in the details. The FIA certified racing seat is ideally situated to maximize visibility and feel every movement of the car. The steering wheel and seat are fully adjustable to provide a perfect fit for dri-vers of all sizes.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re a novice or a professional, you’re going to have a fun and thrilling experience with the LV02,” said Vautier. “We chose it for the EXR Racing Series because it’s everything you want in a race car.”

An enviable power-to-weight ratio means the car feels light and responsive to late braking and hard acce-leration out of corners. Its front-engine configuration puts most of the weight up front, giving the EXR LV02

a playful feel that edges toward oversteer, while still being easy to control. Its six-speed sequential SADEV

transmission delivers the power when it’s needed, with a safety system to keep it from over-revving on the downshifts.

A digital dashboard provides access to all the neces-sary vehicle information, while an onboard timekee-ping system helps drivers track lap times and position. Video and data acquisition are also available as trai-ning tools.

“Drivers are going to appreciate having all the infor-mation they want right there on the dash,” said Vau-tier. “And being able to review data and video after each session will make them faster every time they get behind the wheel.”

The next evolution of Europe’s popular Mitjet 2L, which was created by race champion J.P. Dayraut, the EXR LV02 is race proven. It is now available in the United States exclusively to drivers in the EXR Racing Series.

Romain ThievinCo-founderRomain Thievin has parlayed a lifelong love for cars into a diverse motoring career. A professional racing driver with five French national titles, Thievin has worked as a stunt performer in over 150 television and film productions, including a star turn behind the wheel of the memorable red Mini in The Bourne Identity. He also found acclaim as a television host of the popular French program Fast Club. Thievin partnered with David Perisset in 2009 to start Exotics Racing, and together they have grown it into the premiere exotics driving experience in the world. Originally from Fontainebleau, France, he now lives in Las Vegas with his fiancée, former Miss France Chloé Mortaud and son.

David PerissetCo-founderAn investment banker by trade, David Perisset built a successful career at Rothschild Bank and Lehman Brothers, while also working as a motorsport business manager. A graduate of Paris Dauphine University and ESSEC Business School, he partnered with Romain Thievin seven years ago to create Exotics Racing, which now offers more than 45,000 customers per year the chance to drive the car of their dreams. He started racing himself in 2012, competing as a gentleman driver alongside Thievin in the Euro NASCAR Touring Series. The Paris native now lives in Las Vegas with his wife and young son..

Kevin Madsen has raced to 7 U.S. Road Racing Championship wins including a National Championship in production based race cars. He currently splits time as a manufacturer Test Driver, Racing Coach & Precision Driver. When not seen coaching, driving, or drifting on commercials & TV networks such as Velocity Channel, Kevin can be found sharing his expertise with EXR Series drivers.

Alexandre Premat’s impressive driving resume spans open wheel, touring car, and Le Mans Prototype competition. A former Mercedes and Audi factory driver in DTM, he continues to compete, most recently racing Australia’s exciting V8 Supercars series with Red Bull Racing in 2016, and with DJR Team Penske for this season.
