Product Overview

(C)onnect is the name for the integration product that enables the

etouches event management platform to correctly interface with

the iMIS 15.x platform. The (C)onnect product is a true integration

with bi-directional data exchange that allows organizations all the

flexibility and event planning tools they desire from the etouches

platform with the robust membership, accounting and reporting

functionality of their iMIS system on which the organization relies.

What is etouches?

etouches is an innovative, award-winning event management

platform that is sold and serviced through (C) Systems. The

platform is composed of a variety of different modules that

perform specific tasks within the event lifecycle. The modules are

available in three product line packages:

etouches Pro: The professional version of etouches

provides event planners, marketers and fundraising

professionals access to all of the event modules in the

etouches platform which can be used on an event-by-event

basis while also providing cross-event reporting to allow

for trend analysis. etouches Pro includes the following

modules: eReg, eBooth, eScan, eHome, eMarketing,

eSurvey, eSeating, eSocial, eWiki, eBudget, eProject,

eRFP, and eScheduler.

etouches Quad: The streamlined version of etouches

provides organizers with a solid set of tools to provide

online registration, badging, reporting, and event

marketing through surveys, email and easy-to-configure

event websites.The Quad package includes eHome, eReg,

eMarketing and eSurvey.

etouches Productivity: The Productivity package includes

the tools that professional planners need to maximize

efficiency. The Productivity package includes tools to

allow professionals that run events to better organize and

manage all the details involved in event management. The

etouches Productivity package includes eRFP, eScheduler,

eWiki, eProject and eBudget.

etouches’ eHome event website manager allows administrators to create pages, publish dynamic event registration and scheduling information, as well as create any desired look-and-feel with full access to CSS & HTML.

etouches’ eReg product allows you to create any event workflow desired with multilingual and multicurrency capabilities.etouches also allows you to register using social sign on and embed widget code from social sites such as YouTube and Twitter.

The (C)onnect product allows registrant data input into etouches to be verified in the iMIS database for membership type, registrant class. Registration and transaction data flows directly into iMIS.

(C)onnect offers the following technical features:

Single sign-on from the iMIS public website to etouches’

eReg registration module

iMIS batch controls, accounting entries and GL exports

iMIS event reporting

Ability to configure events in etouches while creating a

corresponding event in iMIS to avoid manual rekey and set

up of events

Ability to modify registration and personal profile

information in etouches with write-back to iMIS

(C)onnect works by utilizing the inherent functionality in iMIS Events

to allow administrators to set up the event in iMIS with

corresponding information in etouches. Several fields are mapped

against one another to ensure that data exchange is accurate,

including:

Mapping iMIS member types to etouches’ categories

Mapping iMIS functions to agenda and options in etouches

Mapping iMIS conflict codes to multiple sessions where

only one may be chosen

Mapping pricing timeframes and amounts to timeframes in

etouches

Create appropriate payment gateway credentials in

etouches

Several additional configuration options are available to handle data

exchange, including:

Allowing the lookup of iMIS records to auto-populate

member records, including member type and registrant

classes

Synchronization of iMIS

Following synchronization, events are added to the batch and processed

through standard iMIS A/R and activity record processes.

(C)onnect activation will automatically add several iMIS

lookup buttons to appropriate areas within the eReg

module.

Registrant Class Verification

To ensure that registrants are not interrupted during their

registration workflow, registrants enter in their information

which is automatically passed back to iMIS for verification

of member type and registrant class. This field mapping is

easily configured within etouches during the set-up of the

event by the event administrator.

Optional Synchronization with iMIS

Performing automatic synchronization with iMIS is not

required, but is an option in the system. If you don’t wish

records to automatically synchronize, but still want to

ensure that membership is verified, you can allow

registrants to look up their own email address and verify it

with the data on record in iMIS.

Email Address Verification

During registration, registrants may enter their email

address on file within the iMIS database and perform a

lookup which will allow for pre-population of registrant

fields based on their iMIS membership record and the

assignment of appropriate pricing based on registrant class.

Batch Processing

The first registration of the day will open a new etouches

batch in iMIS. The registration will be seen on the Events

tab in iMIS and within AR/Cash tab following batch

processing. All reporting and standard rectification

processes can now be performed in iMIS without any

disruption to the organization’s standard business

processes.
