Improved cutting table — fast crop f low. DEUTZ-FAHR has developed a special high power cutting toble with its superiority reflected in important features such os: 1. Outstanding adaptobil i ty to any type of crop provided by fast horizontal and vertical ree

adjustment. 2. Exclusively equipped with the tandem cut mowing system. Hydrautically odiustable cutting

height from -100 mm to +1.300 mm. 3. Large, heavy-duty intoke auger. 4. Precise, contact pressure control and excellent ground matching. 5. Slip clutches on reel, intake auger and conveyor channel. 6. Fast component replacement (e. g. knife, straw elevator slats).

Reel adjustment without toois. The height and speed of the ó-part reel are conveniently controlied from tne driver's seat. For horizontal adjust­ment, ali you need to do is to releose a locking facility and shift the reel on the support frame. The drive elements are not changed, the drive chain remains tensioned auto-motically. The reel tines are adjustoble.

Ear iifters instead of stone coliectors. The 9 to 17 ear Iifters are secured with quick-releose catches and con be adjusted in 3 posìtions. The steeply incllned position is ideal for stony fieids ensuring only eors and no foreign bodies ore picked up.

Rapid knife change. A spare knife ts stowed dlrectly in the intake piate behìna the cutter bar. Simply loosen two screws -rapid knife chongìng without loosing time.

Biocka^es quickiy cleared. The reversing focility on the intake auger ensures the M 1202 is completely operable in no time at al i . Simply switch off the cutting mechanism. Reverse intake auger by meons of push button from the driver's seat. Lift reel hydroulically. The Intake auger automatically rotates in the opposite direction and cleors the straw pile-up so thot operat ion con be quickiy continued.

Exclusive tandem cut mowina system. Standard equipment in DEUTZ-FAHR machines. The doublé fingers are bolted at the top and bottom to the cutting bars. They are extremely sturdy and cannot be deformed even by large stones. The doublé knife blodes cut alternotely ot the top and bot tom. The knife operotes extremely quietly. Consequently: improved distribution of the cutting lood, less wear, low power requirements and high self-cleaning effect. Readiustment Is not necessory.

Straight knife movement . The plonetory drive ensures 1220 cuts per minute. Wi thout v iorat ion, without radius movements, without wear. The obsolute straight knife movement ensures extremely quiet operat ion.

The volume of grain must be separated at the concave. This also applies to damp straw and interfering awn . You therefore need a large drum v^hich produces sufficient centrifugai force and a high threshing strike rate. And Q long concave which provides a large separating area and o long threshing path . the Straw waiicer* It stili operates reliably and effectìvely

even under the most difficult condi t ions-coping with enormous volumes of straw,

with a high molsture content and a consider-able percentage of foreign material. The loose

flow of material over the entire v^idth of the machine ensures effective separation. And DEUTZ-FAHR has

galned a great deal or experlence ìn designing straw walker systems which provide effective seperotìon down to the fast grain.

Threshing mechanism with a high threshing stroice rate . At a diameter of 565 mm and with elght rasp bars, the drum is truly a considerable force. The high dead drum weight produces the necessary threshing force, maintains Constant speed - even during alternating Ioad. The concave encìrcles 103" of the drum circumference and con be individually adjusted et the intake and outlet, providing optimum tiireshing resuits under ali harvesting conditions. This generally renders de-awners unnecessary and ensures high grade grain separation already at the concave stage.

Steep step to slow down crop flow.

Thorough grain separation depends on the optimum crop flow rate. For this reason, the first step in DEUTZ-FAHR combine horvesters is a steep step which slows down the crop flow to the ideal throughput speed, the crop is then thoroughly loosened and spreod over the entire wìdth of the shaker. Other aids and similar devices are rendered superfluous.

Thoroughness in tour steps. Five Straw walker with four steps provide a total separa­tion area of 4.86 m^. The extremely favourable stro-ke/speed ratio ensures the straw is well loosened over the entire area, the high capacity linings separate even the last groins. Maintenance-free ball bearings ensure quiet operot ion and long lasting durability. The straw chomber ODOve the straw walker is electronically monitored, any malfunctions are signolled both visually and acoustically before any damage con occur.

Uniform forced draught distribution. The high power blower provides o uniformly metered flow of cleaning air over the sieve. The speed is continuously variable wi lh a variator. This means fast odaptat ion to changing harvesting conditions. Also fine seed harvesting poses no problem. The forced draught volume Is simply reduced to the requtred rate with the oid of the standard closing plates.

Perfected sieve technology. The sieve represents on ideal combinat ion: top laminated sieve, bottom round hole sieve. • Perfectly clean. • They move in opposìng

directions towards the grain pan providing excellent weight compen-sation.

• They are divided with high partit ioning ribs, ensuring uniform grain distribution and to facili­tate effective sìeve ope­rotion even on slopes.

• Con be easily changed without tools.

The right sieve combination is avoilable for ali types of special crops.

Effective rethreshing. Sturdy paddles in the return elevator rub any grain remaining out of the ears and deliver the grain direct-ly to the grain pan, thereby reducing the Ioad on the drum and straw walker.
