2. Video: What to Expect @ Commencement 2 3. Step 1: Check Your Eligibility Complete degree requirements by Fall2011 or Spring 2012 Confirm your degree audit with StudentRecords. Eligible student names areposted in the Student Records office. Confirm your financial standing withStudent Accounts Students will receive email from FinancialAid on the exit loan interview process. 4. Step 2: Submit Your Graduation InfoSee Student Records immediately if you receive a WebAdvisor error message. You may not be eligible to graduate. 5. Step 2: Entering/Updating Your Info 6. Step 2: Diploma Mailing Diplomas are sent 3 months after degrees areposted on WebAdvisor. They are mailed certified mail, which means youmust sign for them. Diplomas will not be mailedinternationally, you must provide a domesticaddress. Be sure your address in WebAdvisor is accurateand current! 6 7. Step 3: Nominate a Student SpeakerStep 4: Nominate an Honorary Doctorate RecipientComplete the online forms. http://www.cca.edu/students/commencement/students 8. Step 5: Exhibit Your Work Graduate students: contact your programmanagers to participate in the GraduateExhibition. Step 7: Submit a Digital File Image Share a digital image of yourself or your workduring the hour preceding the ceremony. Digital Image Format Guidelines available onhttp://www.cca.edu/students/ commencement/students 10 11. Step 8: Collect Your Announcements & Tickets Collect announcements and tickets between April 16 to 30 from the Student Affairs Office. You will receive 10 complimentary announcements. Announcements are not tickets! Participants receive 6 tickets each. Special seating for guests mobility impaired are available. Please make note on your Graduation Info Form in WebAdvisor.11 12. Step 8: Extra Ticket Requests Extra tickets will be available to purchase for $2each when you pick up your complimentarytickets. Each student may purchase a maximum of 4extra tickets. There will be NO waiting list. Extra tickets will be available only on a firstcome, first serve basis. If you need more than your 6 complimentaryand 4 extra tickets, we suggest asking yourclassmates if they have any extra tickets theyrenot using.12 13. Step 9: Collect Your Tam & Gown Collect your tam and gown on May 9 and 10 from thecampus you indicated on the online ordering form. Apparel is loaned! CCAs black velvet tams can be purchased for $20. For details, please refer to upcoming emails sent by theCommencement Planning Committee. 14.
