Since opening in July 1996, the Columbus Civic Center has set a new standard for sports
and entertainment facilities throughout the Southeast region. From its unique
architecture and state-of-the-art amenities, the Columbus Civic Center has become an
up and coming sports and entertainment venue.
Inside, the facility offers the finest amenities including a 360 degree concourse, 23,000
square feet of flat floor space, and an additional 5,000 square feet of hospitality suites.
The arena is home to two professional sports franchises: the South Professional
Hockey League's Columbus Cottonmouths and the Southern Indoor Football
League's Columbus Lions. The Columbus Civic Center has over 300 event days per
year, to include basketball, hockey, arena football, concerts, ice shows, conferences and
conventions. In the last year, the arena has hosted memorable events such as: Disney
on Ice, Shrine Circus, Cirque Dreams, The Gaithers, Monster Trucks, PBR
Professional Bull Riding, Tyler Perry, Comedian Jeff Dunham, Taylor Swift,
Gary Allan, Montgomery Gentry, Dierks Bentley, Buckcherry, TI, Mixed
Martial Arts, The Greater Columbus Fair and more.

The Columbus Civic Center has 77 handicap seats, 2 elevators, and restroom
facilities.
Lighting
There are 10 Xenon Super Troopers Spotlights located at the top of the arena.
Rigging (End and Center Stage Configurations)
The Grid is 15’x13’1’’ and is incorporated into the bottom chord of the roof trusses. The
Clearance from floor to the bottom chord is 57ft. There are 73 rigging points. Each point
can hold a maximum of 2,500 lbs. The total capacity of the rigging system is 182,500
lbs.
Dressing Rooms
There are 5 large, air-conditioned carpeted dressing rooms with 20 showers and 16
toilets. The dimensions are 32x15. Phones are available in all dressing rooms. The
distance from the stage to the dressing room area is approximately 96 ft. There are 2
carpeted Star dressing rooms with a shower and toilet. Plus 1 Star dressing room with a
private toilet and sink only. The dimensions are 14x12. There are 2 production/media
rooms approximately 10x12 and 15x15.
Load-In
There is one loading dock with a leveling plate. The distance to the center of the arena is
80 ft. The distance from the exterior door to the interior door is approximately 58ft.
The loading area is approximately 60x40. The exterior and interior roll-up doors are
approximately 16x14.
Power
Show Power Northeast-3- 100 amp, 3 phase fused disconnects. Service voltage is
120/208 volt.
Show Power Northwest- 3-100amp, 3 phase fused disconnects, Service voltage is
120/208 volt.
Show Power South- (2 services at 120/208 volts) (1) 1-400amp, 3 phase fused
disconnects; 2-200 amp, 3 phase fused disconnects (2) 2-100 amp, 3 phase fused
disconnects.
TV Mobile Truck Power (2 services at 120/208 volts) (1) 2-150 amp, 3 phase
fused disconnects (2) 2-300 amp, 3 phase fused disconnects.
Parking (fenced & secured)
The truck staging area is located outside the loading dock and is approximately 55’ wide
x 160’ long. Bus parking is located east of the Civic Center with parking for 17 buses.

Bus parking is also available in the loading dock area. There are 4,424 paved parking
spaces for the South Commons Park. Approximately 2/3 of those spaces are designated
for the Civic Center.
Box Office
The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 10 AM-6 PM. There are 5 windows and 1 will
call window.
Staging (Stageright)
Maximum stage size is 40’x76’. There is 100 ft of skirting/ 60 ft of steel barricade
available and 3 sets of stairs.
Scoreboard
There is one Daktronics System. It is a four-sided, center hung board with multi-sport
display for basketball, hockey, boxing, etc.
Restrooms
There are 5 Women’s restrooms, 5 Men’s restrooms, and 4 Family restrooms.
Pay Phones
There are no pay phones in the building.
ATM
There are three ATMs in the building located on both levels of the arena concourse.
Hospitality Rooms
There are 3 hospitality rooms available for rent.
• Coweta Room has 1,500 sq. feet and can accommodate 175 people in a social
setting, 85 people seated.
• Chattahochee Room has 2,000 sq. feet and can accommodate 250 people in a
social setting, 130 people seated.
• Oglethorpe Room has 1,500 sq. feet and can accommodate 175 people in a social
setting, 85 people seated.

GENERAL ARENA FEES
Rent
Base rent of the building for an event is $2,000.00 or twelve percent (12%) of the
adjusted gross at the end of the show for the use of the arena, whichever is greatest.
Deposit
The Columbus Civic Center requires Lessee's to pay a non-refundable deposit equal to
$2,500.00. The deposit will be due upon the return of a signed Lease Agreement. In the
event of a cancelation, 100% of the deposit will be retained by facility.
Promotional Fees
A fifteen percent (15%) fee will apply to all advertising and promotional items, which
utilize the Columbus Civic Center's in-house advertising agency.
Box Office Transactions
A three percent (3%) surcharge will be billed to the Lessee for each electronic
(debit/credit card) transaction made within the Civic Center Box Office. Lessees of the
Columbus Civic Center will be required to pay a “facility fee” equal to $2.50 per ticket on
top of the advertised ticket price.
Pre-Settlement
One week prior to the engagement, a pre-settlement will be conducted to evaluate ticket
sales. If the lessor has not collected enough ticket sales to cover building expenses, the
lessee will be required to pay the outstanding balance at that time.

GENERAL HOSPITALITY SUITE RENTAL FEES
The Columbus Civic Center conference space can be reserved and leased no sooner
than sixty days (60) prior to the day of the event. Clients can place a hold on the date
until the contract date sixty days (60) prior to the day of the event, at which point the
held date will become a booked date. Management reserves the right to pre-empt your
event at any time to book all necessary space inside the arena, even up to the event
date. Reservations are subject to availability and may be refused at any time. If
management pre-empts your event, the deposit will be refunded in full.

HOURS OF OPERATION
The Columbus Civic Center Administrative Office is open from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00
p.m. Monday through Friday. Box Office hours are open from 10:00 a.m. through 6:00
p.m. Monday through Friday / Saturday & Sunday (event days) box office hours open at
1:00 p.m.
FAN COURTESY
Improper conduct (including profane or abusive language and throwing objects) may
result in ejection from the building. We reserve the right to refuse entry into the facility
to anyone.
SPECIAL NEEDS
The Columbus Civic Center is proud to offer full access to our patrons with special
needs. In addition to offering up to 77 handicap seats for all of our events, the Columbus
Civic Center also offers special needs restrooms and elevators.

ELEVATORS
The patron elevator is located near the Sports Hall of Fame, next to the concession stand
in the northwest corner of the arena level.
FIRST AID LOCATION
The first aid station is located inside the arena in the southeast corner behind Section
112.
AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED)
The Columbus Civic Center has an AED located in the Administration Office conference
room, located on east side of the main floor.
AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES (ATM)
The Columbus Civic Center provides patrons with access to three (3) ATMs located in
the Lobby, Southwest Concourse and Southeast Concourse.
SMOKING AREA
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Columbus Civic Center. A designated smoking
section is available outside the south entrance doors on the second level concourse.

Restrictions on the use of still cameras vary by event. The event promoter or artist

recording equipment of any kind are strictly prohibited.

From the North
Take I-85 South to I-185 South. Take I-185 South to exit #1B Victory Drive (US-
27 North). Turn right at end of ramp. Continue on Victory Drive (US-27 North).
At the intersection of Victory Drive and Veterans Parkway, the Columbus Civic
Center will be on your left. Turn left into the Columbus Civic Center parking lot.
From the South
Take US-27 North to Columbus. It will become Victory Drive. Continue on
Victory Drive towards Phenix City, AL. At the intersection of Victory Drive and
Veterans Parkway, the Columbus Civic Center will be on your left. Turn left into
the Columbus Civic Center parking lot.
From the East
Take US-80 West into Columbus. Continue on US-80 / J.R. Allen Parkway. Exit
onto Downtown Columbus / 2nd Ave. Continue on 2nd Ave until it intersects at
13th Street. Turn left onto 13th Street. Go to the second light and turn right onto
Veterans Parkway. Stay on Veterans Parkway and it will take you straight into the
Columbus Civic Center parking lot.
From the East (Alternate)
Take GA-404 West. Take Exit #24 for GA-96. At the end of ramp turn left onto
GA-96 West. Continue onto GA-22 West to GA-85 South. Turn left onto Veterans
Parkway. Stay on Veterans Parkway and it will take you straight into the
Columbus Civic Center parking lot.
From the West
Take I-85 North. Exit #62 onto US-280 East / US-431 South to Phenix City, AL.
Continue on US-280 East crossing the Chattahoochee River into Columbus. At
the intersection of Victory Drive and Veterans Parkway, the Columbus Civic
Center will be on your right. Turn right into the Columbus Civic Center parking
lot.
