Blending Powder

Farbe can produce an infinite number of shades in powder form. In addition

we can prepare colours dispersed onto specific substrates such as salt, alumi-

na, sugar, lactose, silica or maltodextrin.

Oxide blends

A range of iron oxide blends for the pharmaceutical and personal care industries.

Lake dispersions

Lake colours dispersed onto a substrate to improve handling and ease of use.

Speckfree colours

Synthetic dyes blended with lactose or corn starch designed to eliminate specking.

Blending Liquid

Farbe Colour can produce colours in paste forms such as dispersions in glycer-

ine, sugar syrup, castor oil, vegetable oil or propylene glycol to name a few.

We have standard products but also can create tailor-made colours to our cus-

tomers’ own needs.

Speedlakes

Lakes and pigments dispersed in sugar syrup for the confectionary industry.

Glycerine pastes

Pigments or dyes predispersed in glycerine, ideal for use in capsules, mouth-

washes and cake decorations.

Castor oil pastes

Castor oil based colour dispersions specifically designed for lipsticks.

Colours for Food Ingredients

Our food ingredients series consists of a comprehen-

sive range of synthetic dyes and lakes under the ‘FAR-

BE’ brand name, iron oxides and titanium dioxide.

The synthetic colour range is complemented by the

broadest natural colour selection available and allows

you unrivalled colour choice for all applications.

Colours for Personal Care

We hold the dominant position in the toiletry mar-

ket, providing both standard and bespoke colours for

soaps, toothpaste, shampoos, shower gels and shav-

ing products.

We use the ‘FARBE’ brand name across our organic/

inorganic and oxide ranges

Colours for Pharamaceutical

Farbe’s pharmaceutical offerings incorporates all of

our food colour series as well as offering a range of

unique bespoke products specifically suited to the

pharmaceutical industry.

These include glycerine pastes, iron oxide blends,

printing inks and lake dispersions all of which can be

tailor made to suit your formulations.

Repacking

We can supply our colours pre-packed into unit dose

packs ready for direct incorporation into the final mix.

We can offer packing down to 10g and can also offer

products packed in water-souluble sachets for easy

addition to any water-based formulation.

Specialist packaging, unit dosed to customers’ own

formulation requirements, no mess, no fuse, just easy

production. This overcomes many of the problems and

contamination issues associated with powder products.

surface oxidation by metal salt then phosphating. Treatment is Chrome free.

CR SeriesA range of pigment pastes with excellent circulating resistance.

The products have excellent clarity in stand-alone and tinted applications in the automotive field.

Standard GradesA wide range of pigment pastes with cornflake shape particles.

The products have a broad particle distribution and are supplied in white spirit

Lenticular & Circular gradesA range of high performance aluminium pigment pastes suit-able for a variety of special effects. End applications include

industrial, automotive and teletronics.

Universil RangeSurface treated pigment pastes, ensuring compatibility in

solvent & waterborne systems

MetaxMetallic colour compound available in a variety of resins to

create metallic, sparkling and silky effects for use in master-batch & compound applications

MetasheenVacuum metallised pigments for mirror & chrome effects.

Available in slurry and dispersion form

MetashineGlass flake coated with silver by electroplating to achieve a

sparkling effect.

Crystal StarGlass flake coated with metals by electroplating to achieve a

sparkling effect. Available in gold and silver.

White Silver GradesA wide range of pigment pastes with cornflake shape particles.

The products have a narrow particle distribution which givesincreased brightness and colour control from the standard grades.

WX Pastes For waterborne applications. Products have an organic treatment of flake phosphating.

Treatment is Chrome free

PCF Series. Encapsulated aluminium pigments for use in powder coating syste ms. The pigments have been fully cross-

linked and have a compatible xshell of acrylic resinaround each individual aluminium flake particle.

FLAKE Series. A range of leafing and non leafing flake suitable for

electrostatic spraying.
