Marketing Matching Grant Program
Program Goals• Increase traveler spending and economic benefit for Colorado
through effective marketing and promotion• Leverage funds to maximize impact • Support industry collaboration and align industry marketing
efforts to enhance Colorado’s competitiveness
Program Overview• Grant awards up to $25K• 1:1 Match • 20% in-kind• Funded at $400K
● A nonprofit organization located and doing business in the State of Colorado engaged in tourism marketing and promotion
● A Colorado city or county government engaged in tourism marketing promotion
● Each lead applicant is limited to one Marketing Matching Grant project per fiscal year. Note: lead applicants can be a partner in a separate application
Who is Eligible?
● Statewide Industry Sector - Statewide organizations, destination travel groups, tourism associations in CO currently engaged in tourism promotion or marketing
● Destination Partnership - Two or more Colorado destinations that are currently engaged in tourism promotion and marketing
● County/Local Applicants - Individual county, local municipality, or DMO engaged in tourism promotion or marketing

Selection Criteria
Preference will be given to proposals that:
● Demonstrate industry collaboration with two or more destinations
● Advance the niche rollout plans for the eight Colorado travel regions
● Inspire destination experiences founded on a common theme
