Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian Painter. His most
widely recognizable piece is Color Study, Squares with
Concentric Circles (1913). This piece was made with
watercolor, gouache, and crayon on paper.This was
not intended to be a work of art. Kandinsky initially
started this piece to better understand differet color
combinations.

Using different colored constructionpaper, cut out 25 squares.Using the same different coloredconstruction paper, cut out 25 circles.These should be slightly smaller than thesquares. Cut out a second set of 25 differentcolored circles. These should be smallerthan the previous set of circles. Arrange the squares on a piece of paperand glue. Use Kandinsky's piece above as a guide. Next take the larger circles and glue oneonto each square. Make sure you don'tglue two of the same color together. Finally, glue the smaller circles on top ofthe previous set of circles.
