“A rant of the highest magnitude ... diving o a building into a glass of water. I know I’d

pay to see a guy do that.” – Tom Waits

Rantoul AND DieWritten + Directed by Mark Roberts

“Mr. Ahonen brings the populist instincts of a born entertainer. As in a performance by the vintage

Brando, the tough-guy swagger of his productions masks an achingly sentimental heart. He might be a

contender yet.” – e New York Times

Christopher Lanceley had no strong feelings about what he wanted to be when he grew up until he broke his nose one day at school in 1997 and Mr. Turner told him he was now too ugly to be an actor. To spite him he fought his way into the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, where he starred in a number of shows around the country. Maliciously, he moved across an ocean from his Liverpool home to train as an ugly actor at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, where you find him today. As well as his work with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, he has taken a number of TV roles in the UK including “I’m A Juvenile Delinquent,” directed by Alex Cox for the BBC. More recently he was in films The Day, appearing at Cannes Short Film

Corner in 2011, and Terminus, touring festivals this year. Theatre credits include Chun Li! at Theatre Row and The Band at the Soho Theatre. Proudly, he played John March in The Bad and the Better, earning his stripes as an Amoralist. Thank you, Mr. Turner.
