Admission RequirementsBSc Degrees:

In addition to having a full matriculation exemption or conditional exemption certificate a student must also meet the requirement of Maths and English passed at Senior Certificate level with at least 40% Higher Grade or 50 % Standard Grade.

ORNew NSC Degree with Mathematics and English passed with at least a rating of 4.Note that Mathematical Literacy is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

NB: Students who have not done Mathematics up to grade 12 (or highest foreign schooling), MAY NOT register for MAT0511. The abovementioned modules may only be taken provided MAT0511 is also registered for.

REREGISTRATION for MAT0511 may not exceed 2 years.

A student who has not passed English as stipulated above, must register for CSS101H.

Honours Degrees: Bachelors degree with the relevant major

OR an N3 or N4 Certificate with Mathematics, English, Industrial Chemistry & Engineering Science passed with at least 50%.
