Masthead:The use of red is supposed to catch your eye as red is the first colour your eyes are attracted to, it makes the title bold. It’s in the top 1/3 of the magazine so makes it visible from news stands and the font is simple and readable and resembles American college fonts yet still stands out following conventions.

Tag Line:The magazine’s selling point and in this case also reflects the target audience.

Main Cover Line (Main Article):Reflects main image and is the most dominant of the cover lines as the font and colour of the text stands out most against the main image and as it’s the biggest test after the masthead. The use of the word “amazing” is supposed to convince buyers and readers that it’s a special interview.

Cover Lines:Some of the cover lines are informational, a lot of them are very personal and reach out to people’s conscious areas, telling them how to better themselves or what other peoples views on them may be.Colour of the cover lines also matches guy’s outfit.

Cover Lines:These cover lines are more on peoples interest, choosing music and gaming, and using popular bands and games to attract even more attention, also reviewing them giving the audience and opinion and supplying information.

Cover Lines:Very focused on the main thoughts of the age range, big ones being careers and holidays for I assume partying. Also another article telling people how they could possible better themselves, again playing on the areas people are conscious about.

Main Image:The main image dominates the page, the man is staring directly at the audience, and his glasses hide most of his face, covering identity meaning you have to read the mag to learn more about him, and his yellow top is a very eye catching colour also trying to attract audiences attention.
