INTRODUCTION

The canteen is a service that is available to both student and staff, with no competitive opposition unless staff or student decide to leave the premises to purchase elsewhere.Even it is not possible to make any kind of timetable for making any kind of difference for both of themSo basically both are the potential customer for the canteen so the survey is done by considering both of them.i.e. the survey was compiled to investigate concerns of the student as well as Faculty & supporting staff

What is canteen?

Canteen is a kind of service with product which is offer to people.Canteen for student is a place where they can sit, chat ,sing & enjoy their college life. No tension of lecture & faculty.College without canteen is like clouds without rain.

Objective of the projectTo examine the mind set of student & faculty for canteen.To examine what facilities are required for an identicle canteen.To identifie the potentiality of customer in side the campus.

SWOT ANALYSISStrengths : we have loyal customer potential because there are many outsider student as well as.Human Resource we have also young and jubilant.

Weakness : No well organized plan.No supporting staff is there for solving problem of Canteen.Rule are quickly forms and breaked very quickly.Proper infrastructure is not available for Canteen.

Opportunities : Many students are outsider.We can just start with only prepared snacks like chips , cookies, cake, pastry, chocolates. tea , coffee with machine and cold drinks.

Treat : As such no treat is available like having a general store near the college campus.Customer satisfaction should be there i.e. we cant charge extra transportation cost from them.

“Result Of the survey”According to the response of student & staff , it is very clear that canteen is requirement of both and it should be outside the college building.All of them need Refreshment drinks.Because survey done in summer so that demand of cold drink is more.Survey shows Mango flavour is in demand.According to survey in canteen they need combination i.e all of them need variety.Fast food and lunch is prefered by many of them bt with gud quality.

“Facts & Finding”At the time of survey my team observed that student as well as staff don’t have trust on Management.Even my team faces many problem due to this.Just because student have no other option they are compromising with the quality of food.Even they are facing problem of basic need like cold drinking water in college campus.Survey shows that there are many events which student want to celebrate they can’t because canteen is not there.

Recommandations 1.More people to serve food 2.Staff in canteen should wear gloves and hair nets 3.Food description- on what they contain: red amber andgreen lights 4.More water machine in the canteen area 5.More seating area 6.Display menus 7.Prices clearer 8.Canteen temp to be cooler 9.Ventilation 10.More social space required 11.Healthier food 12.Better portions
