In this session, Allen will share behind-the-scenes secrets from New York Fashion Week, Aveda Collections and his own personal collections with you. ADVANCED STYLINGAdvanced styling is composed of mastering in-depth techniques of up-styling. Our goal is to highlight the talent found in our Canadian Aveda network, giving the opportunity for new and old talent alike to share their knowledge and become a part of Collega’s Education Team. ACEs are issued Collega contracts and paid a daily education rate for their contributions.

ACEs are certified to teach In-Salon and/or on the Network Calendar within their domain. Candidates must follow the application process. Successful candidates will be invited to attend Certification Classes. Individuals who demonstrate proficiency in domain knowledge and delivery skills will have the opportunity to deliver technical education as Aveda Certified Educators (ACE).

Auditions for Certification are held for the following domains:

• Styling Coach/ACE (Must have completed Styling Essentials in the past)• Colour Coach/ACE (Must have completed Colour Wise 1 & 2)• Spa Coach/ACE (Must have completed Skin Wise 1 & 2, have completed the on-line Tulasara training and

Please note that while this 3-day workshop will benefit everyone who attends, not all candidates will achieve ‘certification’ to teach in the network. Those that require more practice, experience or education will be connected with a mentor to encourage their development.

ACE BootcampAll existing certified educators are encouraged to attend ACE Bootcamp which runs at the same time that our certification event is scheduled. ACE Bootcamp runs on the Sunday (day one) of this event and may be hosted virtually to enable broad participation. Existing ACEs will be briefed on new and updated curriculum and current domain and industry trends.
