Drastic and relevant recommendations made, for ex allowing private players with profit repatriation subject to a cap, rather than run as “charitable trust”

Section 9.7 IIMs and other leading MEEs to adopt 3-4 MEEs
in their regions For a country of our size and diversity, we
need a large number of excellent institutions. The possibility of leveraging the better-rated
institutions to develop the promising MEEs needs to be explored.
(MEE = management education entity)

Section 9.7.1 The better rated institutes should each adopt 3 or 4
aspirant MEEs in the region to assist them in improving levels of quality and ratings
Such assistance can be in the following processes - Curriculum development and delivery - Case study and teaching note exchange - Student exchange - Sharing of experiences in pedagogy - Placements of students for both summer training and full

“Acharyaat paadam aadatte, paadam shishyah swamedhayaa Paadam sabrahmacharibyah paadam kaalakramena cha”
An ancient Sanskrit verse on knowledge acquisition
Group wisdom: Collegium of judges/teachers, council of ministers….
Why cohort?
04/25/2023 eMBArkers 9
Peer learning and mentoring A healthy peer pressure for effective implementation Availability of a larger “Devil’s Advocate” group
helping to sharpen ideas, visions and action points Cohort forms a support group for one another, when
it comes to operational issues Harvard’s Doctoral program on educational
leadership aims to impact through this cohort system
Very much cost effective and value adding !
Benefits of a cohort
