Bland colours, other than protagonist. Meaning the focus is generally on her. In our task we will likely use framing to highlight the main as he will ear dark clothes to connote depressionMain is wearing red hoodie, jeans has hair tied back and holding a carton of orange juice. Shows laid back nature, body language reinforces this. Instantly lets the viewers know about character without dialogue.Colouring important as red either shows warning sings, however in context with rest of scene possible a love interest/romance as danger seems unlikely in such a calm environment.

Titles start with name of studio. This is the common order of titles and this film follows suite. The titles also follow the mood of the sequence also being laid back. They are cleverly incorporated into the scene with the shadow overlapping the text. This also emphasizes the power given to the protagonist as they come first in the scene even their shadow.

This is the establishing shot of the opening. It lets viewers know that’s its set in a neighborhood area.

The actual title of the film comes 5th in the title sequence this again follows the standard convection.

It is also key to see how although the title isn't given it's own shot, it shares a large majority of the frame, having the whole right side to itself. This reveals how much value the title holds in a frame, and so in our task we should move the title to earlier on and also make sure it is VERY visible to the audience, and that the shot holds long enough

This shot is also important as the main character is framed in the middle is the only character on screen. We makes it obvious she is the protagonist, and considering our colour scheme framing will be vital in signifying the main.

OverallJuno has quite a unconventional opening sequence, which is why I will analyse a more conventional one later. It didn't include things such as narration or introducing more than one character.

However from this sequence I now know establishing shots and the title is given value on frame. Also my knowledge of the order

of titles has increased
