Pre-Orders taken from January 2nd–March 23rd
Pick up Date: Saturday April 7, 2018 from 9:00am-1:00pm
Plant Sale Registration Information
Pick up location: Jim Miller Park 2245 Callaway Rd, Marietta, GA 30008
Pre-Order Deadline: Friday March 23, 2018 at 5:00pm
Order Information: Orders will be accepted via walk-in with debit/credit card (Visa/MasterCard/
Discover), cash, money order or check. Mail in orders will be accepted with check or money
order. All checks should be made out to Cobb Co. Extension/4-H. ALL SALES are final.
Cobb County 4-H makes no guarantee on plants sold.
Plant Sale Theme: “Wonderful World of Pollinators!” Many of the plants offered will not only add
color to your yard but will attract beneficial pollinators to your landscape!
Plant pick up time: Saturday April 7th from 9:00am– 1:00pm. Plants WILL NOT be held after
1:00pm on pick up date. Plants remaining will be considered a tax deductible donation. You will
receive a donation letter for your tax planning purposes.

Blackberry– 1 gallon Price: $6.00
Erect thorn less bushes and are not aggressive as trailing varieties. Self pollinating, relatively pest
free and easy to grow. Yields 3-4 pints per plant.
Varieties: Apache, Natchez, Ouichita
Sunlight needed: Full Sun
Blueberry– 1 gallon Price: $6.00
Blueberries are relatively pest free and require little care once established. Plant at least two bushes,
each of a different variety for cross-pollination.
Early: Vernon, Climax Mid: Powder Blue, Pink Lemonade (self pollinator)
Late: Ochlockonee
Sunlight needed: Full Sun
Abelia- ‘Rose Creek’– 1 gallon Price: $6.00
Evergreen with glossy pink tinged foliage, red stems, and white flowers from spring to fall that attract
butterflies. Up to 3’ tall by 4’ wide. Low water. Pest free.
Sunlight needed: Partial to Full Sun
Agastache– Blue Fortune ‘Anise Hyssop’– 1 gallon Price: $7.00
Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well –drained soils in full sun to part shade. Good soil
drainage is essential for this plant.
Sunlight needed: Full Sun to Part Shade
Azalea- ‘Admiral Semmes’– 2 gallon Price: $12.00
A deciduous, bright yellow, fragrant azalea. Mildew resistant and flourishes in the hot, humid, condi-
tions of the South.
Sunlight needed: Partial to Full Sun
Camellia- ‘Yuletide’– 1 gallon Price: $8.00
Single, brilliant red blooms centered with bright yellow stamens make an elegant statement in the
winter garden. The glossy, dark green foliage creates a handsome natural hedge or foundation
shrub. Medium in size and a mid-season evergreen bloomer.

Crape Myrtle ‘Natchez’– 1 gallon Price: $8.00
Plant has distinctive exfoliating bark and pure white flower. The plant can grow into small trees
approximately 25 feet tall

Edgeworthia chrysantha- ‘Paper Bush’– 1 gallon Price: $9.00
Filling the late-winter garden with pleasant fragrance, this well-branched shrub displays creamy
yellow flower clusters at its branch tips. Spring brings slender blue-green foliage, turning yellow in
fall.
Sunlight needed: Full Shade to Partial Sun
Fig ‘Brown Turkey’– 1 gallon Price: $7.00
An attractive deciduous tree with an intriguing winter silhouette. Produces very tasty, brownish
purple fruit in late spring and again in late summer. A beautiful plant for garden or landscape, re-
quiring only light annual pruning.

Fothergilla ‘Mount Airy’– 1 gallon Price: $6.00
Deciduous shrub with deep blue-green leaves has attractive fall color. Honey-scented, brush-like
flowers appear before the leaves. Beautiful addition to shrub borders or for background in semi-
shaded borders.

Gardenia– ‘Frost Proof’– 1 gallon Price: $6.00
This plant has a nice symmetrical upright form with very attractive narrow green foliage. It can be
maintained in a pot, but grows to 3 feet tall outdoors. It requires moist, somewhat acidic soil

Helleborus ‘Niger Jacob’ 1 gallon Price: $12.00
An early bloomer, this selection has large, forward-facing pure white flowers which mature to
green. Large, deep green leaves form a sturdy, uniform clump, and are deer and rabbit resistant!

Helleborus ‘Candy Love’ 1 gallon Price: $12.00
This plant has dark green deer-resistant leaves, highlighted by red veins in spring. The leaves are
topped, starting in late winter, with clusters of 15" stalks ending in huge 3.5" wide pink-tinged white
flowers.

Heuchera -Amber Lady ‘Coral Bells’ 1 gallon Price: $8.00
Heuchera Amber Lady’s features soft, velvety amber leaves with rose pink undersides. A silver
marbling overlay adds beauty and dimension to the lobed foliage.

Coral Bells Blackout is a dramatic edging plant: Jet black glossy leaves & cream-colored flowers.

Hydrangea Snow Queen ‘Oakleaf Hydrangea’– 3 gallon Price: $13.00
Large, dense 6 to 8 inch long clusters of white flowers are held upright above the dark green oak
leaf-shaped foliage. Flowers become rose-pink in the fall and leaves turn deep red-bronze.

Japanese Painted Fern 1 gallon Price: $7.00
Stems are red-wine with leaves of burgundy, green, and silver. This deciduous fern should get 12-
18 inches tall.

Monarda Pink Supreme ‘Bee Balm’- 1 gallon Price: $7.00
This midsized selection has shaggy magenta-pink flowers. The foliage is delightfully fragrant, with
excellent resistance to powdery mildew disease. A favorite of both butterflies and hummingbirds

Osmanthus fragrans ‘Tea Olive’ 1 gallon Price: $6.00
A large evergreen shrub or small tree with an upright form that is densely branched and covered
with dark green foliage. Tiny flower clusters have a delightful apricot-like fragrance. Plant tea olive
near walks and entrances to enjoy the fragrance.

Platycodon-Sentimental Blue ‘Balloon Flower’– 1 gallon Price: $7.00
A dwarf selection with whimsical flower buds shaped like hot air balloons that open to large, blue
flowers with purple veins. Blooms throughout summer.

Rudbeckia Goldstrum ‘Black Eyed Susan’- 1 gallon Price: $7.00
A colorful, fuss-free border plant and excellent choice for cut flowers. Bright, daisy-like, golden yel-
low flowers with black centers cover the dark green foliage. Tolerates heat, humidity, and clay soil.

Colorful foliage opens pink and turns yellow in the spring. Followed by lime green in the summer
and copper in fall. Up to 3’ tall and 4’ wide. Tolerates various growing conditions

The neat mound of rich green foliage provides the ideal backdrop for tight clusters of brilliant white
flowers. Foliage becomes gold, red, and purple in autumn.

Masses of large, pure white, snowball-like flower clusters make a showy display and are exquisite in
floral arrangements. Glossy, bright green leaves have a purplish red fall coloring.

A rugged new cultivar with year-round interest. Glossy green foliage with red and yellow fall color.
