COAL VALVES

FOR BURNER LINE OR FEEDER ISOLATION APPLICATION

MERRICK Coal valves are uti lized as material shutoff

gates located at the bunker (silo) outlet. These valves

provide “off -on” control of the material of varying sizes.

They are designed to cut through a standing column of

material.

MERRICK Knife gate valves can be uti lized as isolati on

valves located at the feeder outlet, pulverizer outlet or

in the burner line at the furnace face. These valves pro-

vide “off -on” control of the material of varying sizes.
