We are a new and fully-independent Tour Operator, based in the East Midlands, established in the summer of 2016. The Laver family have been in the travel business for over 50 years and our new family company is headed by Managing Director Martin Laver. 2019 will be our 3rd tour programme, predominantly in the UK and is set to be the best yet by far. We have developed a clearer image of what our customers would expect and we are excited about releasing our 2019 selection of carefully planned and largely ‘unique’ breaks throughout the UK, stretching from the southern reaches of Cornwall to Orkney Islands and everywhere in between! With a growing database and reputation for top quality escorted holidays, the future looks bright for one of the CTA's newest operator members. A brand-new Travel Shop & Coffee Lounge opened in April 2018 and has taken off very well indeed. Any member of the CTA or industry colleague can enjoy a free Italian fresh ground coffee should you be passing by! all about TOURS are also agents for a growing number of other coach, air, rail & cruise companies and now stock an impressive variety of holidays on their shelves in Long Eaton. ‘the COACH café’ has certainly gained a great deal of interest both locally and even nationally with the idea being to bring in the right people to the shop, but for a different reason. People can relax with a fresh drink and light bite, ask questions, browse brochures – or sometimes just call in to be nosey! We don’t mind, just as long as people keep dropping into say hello! 2019 will be Martin’s 28th active year in the industry and the passion remains for both for his own business and the industry he loves.

Established in 1953, we are proud to be one of Norfolk's longest established family operators of quality coach holidays, daily excursions and luxury coach hire. We operate a fleet of 10+ vehicles and our successful operation has for many years provided a fully comprehensive range of transport solutions. This has all been achieved through the dedication of our 15 strong team who have for many years been the driving force of our success. At Easton’s we strive to be amongst the leaders of our industry, and aim to achieve this via continued investment in our fleet and constant research and development of our products. We have two major aspects of our business, our own tour and excursion programme, as well as our executive coach hire. The success of our tour operations speaks volumes when you consider that a small family firm can carry in excess of 21,000 passengers per year. This is a constantly changing number due to the market conditions we now operate in. Gone are the days when people booked their holidays a year in advance. We now spend at least 50% of our time, booking people onto tours and excursions with less than a month to go before departure. This has led to the need to increase the number of reservation staff required in our tour office by two members, just to meet demand.

I run two high end tour programmes. We require hotels who treat us as
special, individual travellers, as my groups are generally around 30 per
group, and often require an extended dinner option, not just the standard
group menu.. We are always looking for something different, perhaps a
private garden or stately home visit, or a castle tour with the owners,
followed by refreshments, something the larger operators cannot provide.
All our tours include door to door home pick-ups and the services of an
experienced tour escort. Our main programme specialises in Garden
Tours, these are also different visits the ones offered in many competitors
brochures.
We inspect all our hotels and visits personally.
