Constraints in the Stations

VijayanagarConstraints:1)Existing 20MVA transformers was enhanced by 31.5MVA, but the CTs, breakers have not been replaced. Existing bank of 31.5MVA transformer is getting overloaded and load shedding is being effected.2)1X20MVA Power transfortmer load is overloaded with peak load of 18MWs.Remedies:Additional bank is to be proposed for 31.5MVA transformer with switchgear.

ByadarahalliConstraints:2X20MVA Power transformer load os overloaded with peak load of 36MWs which is more than 75% of loading.Remedies:Transformer to be augmented by 2X31.5MVA

LR BandeConstraints:Existing power transformers are overloaded.Remedies:Augmentation of 2X20MVA by 2X31.5 Power transformer is required.

VHSSConstraints:1)Due to overloading of 2X20MVA power transformer, load shedding to be effected during peak hours.2)Aged breakers, no space available since existing C&GRemedies:1)2X20MVA transformers to be augmented by 2X31.5MVA transformers2)16 breakers of Bank I & II to be replaced

SarakkiConstraints:Station is overloadedRemedies:The existing 20MVA power transformer has to be augmented to 31.5MVA

A-StationConstraints:Breaker problem due to aged CGL breakers, no spares available.Remedies:All the switch gears to be replaced.

EPIPConstraints:Lengthy and overloaded 11KV feedersRemedies:New station at Kachamaranahalli to be established. DPR approved.

Pottery RoadConstraints:2X20MVA Power transformers overloaded(Peak load 31MW)Remedies:Enhancement of 1X20MVA by 31.5MVA.

HBR & ManyathaConstraints:HBR and Manyatha feeding from 220KV Hoskote located in rural & ITI-Hebbal lines.(Load shedding is being done in both the stations).

Constraints in the Transmission

Network

DG-3 & DG-4 lineConstraint:Load is restricted to 40MW only.Remedies:IT is proposed to lay 1000Sqmm 66KV cable for a distance of about 3Kmss from SRS Peenya to Platinum city

Hebbal to L.R.Bande lineConstraint:Existing 66KV Hebbal – ITI 2 line overloaded.Remedies:IT is proposed to lay 1000Sqmm 66KV cable for a distance of about 3Kmss from SRS Peenya to Platinum city

ByadrahallyConstraint:66KV Peenya- TG Hally line overloaded.Remedies:Replacement of Existing coyote by HTLS/Lynx/Drake.

Kumbalagodu-Bandemutt-Sir.M.VConstraint:No alternate source to all the three stations.

Amarjyothi MUSSConstraint:HAL-Audugodi 1&2 lines overloadedRemedies:Enhancement of conductor.

K&C ValleyConstraint:No Alternate source.

Khodays Glass FactoryConstraint:No Alternate source.Remedies:To be arranged from RBI or South City

Audugodi-Jayadeva lineConstraint:Line overloaded.Remedies:The existing Coyote conductor to be replaced by Drake conductor.

Elita-Khodays StationConstraint:No Alternate source.Remedies:Proposed to have link line from RBI/South city-2.2Km.

Velankani StationConstraint:No Alternate source.Remedies:To be arranged from Naganathpura.

BTM MUSSConstraint:No Alternate source.Remedies:To be arranged from Naganathpura/AECS Layout.

South City MUSSConstraint:No Alternate source.Remedies:To be arranged from Elita prominade.

Banaswadi MUSSConstraint:ITI-Hebbal line overloaded.Remedies:Replacement of 66KV Coyote by HTLS conductor about 13KM. Included in KPTCL FY 13 budget.

HAL-NGEF lineConstraint:To avoid radial & overload on Hoody station.Remedies:Replacement of 66KV Coyote by HTLS conductor about 13KM. Included in KPTCL FY 13 budget.

A Station-VHSSConstraint:To avoid radial & overload on A station.Remedies:Running additional (66KV) line using 1000 Sqmm UG cable. Included in KPTCL FY-13 budget.

A Station- C Station Constraint:To avoid radial & overload on A station.Remedies:Running additional (66KV) line using 1000 Sqmm UG cable. Included in KPTCL FY-13 budget.
