CNMS HEADLINES

Castle North Middle School’s Student Council will be

sponsoring our annual school-wide 3K walk/run event in

order to promote making healthy choices on Thursday,

May 9, 2019. During our event, we will inspire our stu-

dents, staff, and their families to develop lifelong and

healthy habits. Our 3K event is an exciting and fun-filled

day of exercise and fitness education where CNMS and

the community come together to consider current choices

we are making and how we can make better choices to

improve our overall health.

We would like to thank Talley Eye Institute for generously

contributing to our event. This event cannot happen with-

out the support of our families and community. Because

we are in need of much funding, if your business or your

family would be willing to make a donation of $300 or

more, we will place your business name or family name

on the back of each shirt as a way of showing our appre-

ciation for your generosity. (In order for us to place your

company’s or family’s name on our shirts, we will need t-

shirt donations by April 5.)

We also are in need of donations for fruit pops, door priz-

es, and awards. If you would be willing to offer assis-

tance, please contact:

Mrs. Fussner at [email protected]

Ms. Killebrew at [email protected]

Creed is a program that rewards students

for doing a good deed. It is a good way for

students to do the right thing and show kind-

ness. Creed is a good program because it

helps students stay on track; it also helps

the students who need a lift up. Creed al-

lows students to sit at the Creed table, sit

and bond with a couple of friends in the sky

box, get in the lunch line first, and get into a

sports event free. Creed is important be-

cause you can show that you are responsi-

ble and trustworthy. -Aleyna
