Heavy-duty grinding is possible because of the retention force of 1 ton, a strength not seen elsewhere. Grinding wheel rotation accuracy gives high-accuracy grinding of 0.01 m or less. The grinding wheel spindle has no metal contact so that performance can be maintained semi-permanently.
