Big Event news a. Pick Up your Big Event T-shirt (TO BE WORN ON SATURDAY)

b. Bring your Student ID – We are swiping each person into Big Event during the week, so you don’t have to wait in line Saturday Morning

c. If you are participating as an individual, we will look your site information up by your name.

d. If you are participating with a group, we need to know what group you are participating with.

Big Event news -Everyone wear close toe shoes.

-Also remember to meet at 8am in the Library Mall for breakfast- we will be carpooling to our site from there , or you can meet us there at the site at 9a.m.

-Our projects will be completed by 12pm; you are free to go after this, but UNT is hosting an after party on campus from 12p-2p (free food, prizes, etc.)

Saturday, April 7 8:30a-6:30p – Stand managers and sellers

Friday, April 13 12:15p-6:15p and/or 6p-11p – Stand managers and sellers

Saturday, April 14  1:45p-6:15p and/or 6p-midnight – Stand managers and sellers

***We can make $150 per person if people work all 3 days ,or about $25 per person for each shift worked.

Texas Ranger’s Raffle The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation needs help with

their AL Champions Ring Raffle. You will be asked to arrive 3 hours prior to the first pitch and stay through 90 minutes into the game each night that you volunteer. After the 90 minutes you are free to stay and watch the game or do whatever you want to. They will provide you with a t-shirt, apron for tickets, and a till. They just want us to volunteer our time to help sell raffle tickets and help them help more kids.

***There will be incentives for the organization who provides the most volunteers.

Friday Pride DayWe have another volunteer

opportunity !!! This Friday the "Friday Pride Day" campaign staff

would like ambassadors to help them pass out coupons in the union near the One o'clock lounge from 11am-1pm. If you are interested in helping and getting a jump on your mandatory volunteer hours for this semester please contact let me know.

Make a note…We will have elections for officers

and committee leader positions. If you’re interested be prepared to give a brief

presentation on why you should be chosen to fill the position.
