  • He is risen! Celebrate the Savior!

In their fright the women bowed down with their faces tothe ground, but the men said to them, Why do you look forthe living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!

Remember how he told you, while he was still with you inGalilee: The Son of Man must be delivered over to the handsof sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again (Luke 24:58, NIV).

We are thankful for the cross & resurrection!

Happy Easter from all of us here at the National/International Support Center. CMA

Thank YouOn December 27, my son, hisgirlfriend, and small baby leftKirksville, MO to head backhome to Oklahoma City, OK.They got six hours away, stopped for gas, and the carwould not start. They were faraway from any service stationsor motels, somewhere betweenEmporia and Laredo, KS. Whenthey called they were veryscared because they had nomoney and did not know anyone, and were still very far fromhome.

It would have taken me sevenhours to reach them, so I called afriend of mine in Kirksville, MO,Judy Booth, who is a CMA member. She gave me the numbers ofsome members closer to wheremy son was stranded. Within anhour some CMA members wereon their way to help. They tookmy sons girlfriend and baby to amotel some 45 miles away, andthen took my son back to the carto work on it. They helped getthe car running so my son couldmake it back to the motel, thenon home to Oklahoma. My sonwas overwhelmed by the kindness and help they offered.

Thank you to Judy and all theCMA members who helped mykids. I dont know that I can eversay thank you enough. You aresome of the greatest people Iknow, and I am glad to have youas brothers and sisters.

    2013

In January 2013 while therest of us were still tryingto sort out our New Yearsresolutions and get ready forSeasons of Refreshing, JohnOgden Sr. was already traveling extensively in South EastAsia visiting several closedcountries.

He was primarily following up on

your investment in Run for the Son

in Asia. He was honored to attend

    The JESUS Film Projects annual

    conference for church leaders and

    planters in Bangkok, Thailand. John

also had the pleasure of meeting

    with not only Eric Shenkel,

    Executive Director of The JESUS

    Film Project, and Steve Douglass,

    President of Campus Crusade for

Christ, but over one thousand dedi

cated and grateful workers of the

    Gospel from Thailand, Cambodia,

    and other major Asian countries.

They all were interested in meeting

with John and expressing their grat

itude to you, the dedicated mem

    bers of the Christian Motorcyclists

    Association, that have generously

funneled through Run for the Son

    nearly three hundred thousand dol

lars to support their work of build

ing the Christian church in Asia.

John had the opportunity to trav

el with some of CMAs RFS ministry

partners for rural showings of the

JESUS film. Traditionally statisticsshow that for every ten people that

view this stirring film of Jesus life

one comes to Christ, but in this very

    Godhungry major Asian area, one

in six that see the life story of Jesus

have come to Him seeking a Savior.

John says it is sometimes hard to

recognize what the Holy Spirit is

doing, but when you see firsthand

the work of evangelism and disci

pleship that is going on it is mind

    boggling. As he visited impover

ished house churches, the need for

    resources, open doors of opportuni

    ty, protection, and strengthening of

    faith all become obvious prayer

    concerns for these courageous

    workers of the Gospel.

    John went

    through his own

    testing as he

    rode a 90cc

    motorcycle into

    the jungle tow

    ing a full size

    trailer behind

    that was con

    structed from

    the rear section

    of a pickup

    truck. Having a

    lifetime of two wheeled experi

ences, he made the trip with flying

colors (CMA of course). His only

comment; It pulled it okay, but no

way it would stop on those dirt and

    sand roads!

    As 2013 progresses John looks

forward to checking on the work

and seeing our ministry partners in

action in the Amazon jungles of

Peru, deserts of Africa, century old

cities in Europe, and reporting back

to you all of the miraculous things

God is doing with your investment

in Run for the Son during the

    National Rallies in Fryeburg, Maine

    and Chama, New Mexico.

    Our three RFS ministry Partners:

The JESUS Film Project, Open Doors,

    and Missionary Ventures

International, are all held to a high

    standard of accountability as they

    must submit an annual budget.

They each report where they feel

the biggest need is in their particu

lar ministry area for the Run for the

Son monies, it is approved by the

CMA Board of Directors, and then

    accounting reports are submitted

throughout the year as they put

your money to work changing theworld, one heart at a time.

John thinks it interesting to note

that The JESUS Film Project has a

program called Finishers. It is com

prised of a group of millionaires

    that have committed major money

to finish the translation of the out

standing languages that have yet to

be completed. Due to your major

    investment through RFS, The JESUS

Film Project has requested to list

CMA as part of that program. With a

    grin, our beloved CEO/Chairman of

the Board thinks it is amusing that a

bunch of rag tag bikers are listed

among an elite group of million

aires. Only by the blessing and favor

of God could we ever be Finishers!

    However, I consider my life

worth nothing to me, if only I may

finish the race and complete the

task the Lord Jesus has given me

the task of testifying to the gospel

of Gods grace (Acts 20:24, NIV).

Thank you for your selfless con

    tribution of time, effort and

finances to make Run for the Son

one of the most effective resources

in the ministry of CMA for the pur

    suit of worldwide evangelism. CMA

Ive had many opportunities to see where and how

CMAs Run for the Son is changing lives around the

world. Through various mission trips around the

world and the CMA ministry locations within this

country Ive had the blessing to see lives changed and

people impacted with the Gospel. The work our min

istry partners and CMA members are able to accom

plish because of funding through RFS is a direct result

of your personal donations and your fundraising

efforts. You are making a difference!!

Okay, just so you know, Im not going to share one

of my stories, at least not in this article! But, with the

culmination of RFS 2013 right around the corner I did

want to share this letter I received from a CMA mem

ber regarding a personal eyeopener of the results

    through RFS.

    By RANDAL Tebeau

    Lives changed through RFS

My wife and I went to

    Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge,

    Tennessee, last week for the

    International celebration, where

they bring in acts from all over the

    world; Germany, Czech Republic,

    Ireland, Canada, Peru, Argentina,

    China, and Zambia.

    The group from Zambia consists

of six men, all from a small village

    in central Zambia. Previously

    Zambia was northern Rhodesia

    and as an English

    colony in central

    Africa speaks

    English as its pri

    mary language.

    After their per

    formance, I had a

    chance to talk

    with a couple of

    them and this is

    what they told me.

These six young men, while liv

ing in a poor African town, were

    together one evening when a

Christian team came to their vil

lage. They set up a projector and

screen and presented the JESUSfilm. All six

    accepted Jesus

    into their lives

    that night. They

    felt the need to

    share their new

    life and God, so

    they started to

sing as a group anywhere they

could. Being too poor to afford

    instruments, they

    sang "acapella"

    (without accom

    paniment). After a

    couple of years

    singing Gods

    songs, another

    missionary heard

    them and made

    arrangements for

them to do an American tour and

they have been touring ever since.

    Every performance is a display

of the love of Christ. For the past

several years they have been send

ing money back to their village for

    an orphanage run by fellow

    Christians. They

    said that now 283

    children are get

    ting a chance at a

    Christian life.

    So do the math.

    One film changes

    at least six lives,

those six then spend years touring

and praising God, and supporting a

    Christian school with 283 children.

    If one film viewing accomplishes

this amount, what is being accom

plished by the teams showing it

    day after day?

It's not often that we see the

results of our giving, and this

made a real impression on me.

Stories like this happen all the time and every so often we get to see or

experience one for ourselves. I have heard stories from quite a few CMA

members who have seen firsthand the direct effects that RFS has in grow

ing Gods Kingdom. My encouragement to you is this; even if you havent

seen it yourself, you are making a difference by participating in RFS, both

here in the biking community and all around the world. If you have not

participated in RFS in the past, please pray about it and see where God

would lead in this direction. You can and will make a difference, how much

is up to you!! May God Bless each of you for your faithful support of this

ministry. CMARandal and Lisa Tebeau oversee the SoutheastRegion as National Evangelist.

As we were beginning to setup our CMA booth beforethe 2009 Laconia Motor

cycle Week event, I began to wonder if this annual effort was ourplan or Gods plan. For manyyears before I was a part of CMA,chapters labored and resourceswere expended on the booth. Itwas not our intentions that werein question as my thoughts wrestled with this process, butwhether or not it was what Godwanted us to be doing. For yearsmany people have been blessedand lives changed because of ourbooth. But over the past few yearschallenges over booth locationcontinued.

Fast forward three years andwe were once again building thenow 10 X 20 booth tent that hadexpanded from the original 10 X10 tent back in 2009. The newbooth now had two TV monitors, ceiling fans, better lighting, fullcolor CMA banners and newexpanded tables of Bibles andinformation. One thing thatremained consistent, but strongerand more often, was my wrestlingthoughts of should we be doingthis. Part way through the 2012Bike Week Event we were askedto take down and remove ourbooth.

At first I was feeling myhumanistic frustration and asense of unfairness directedtoward me and the physicalefforts of all the CMAers involved. Then, the Holy Spirit overwhelmed me with one of myfavorite Scriptures. Consider itpure joy, my brothers, whenever

you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testingof your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish itswork so that you may be matureand complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom,he should ask God, who gives generously to all without findingfault, and it will be given to him.But when he asks, he must believeand not doubt, because he whodoubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind(James 1: 27, NIV).

I had not anticipated this typeof trial but for a few years Godhad been trying to tell me that thebooth for this event was not whatHe wanted and it became obviousthat I was like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.So God moved, and our tent camedown, but He gave me a totalpeace that He was testing myfaith. I began right then and thereto believe and not doubt that Godwas in control and I should consider this trial pure joy becausethe future for the event was in Hisplan.

Now, for the rest of the story! It is 2013 and doors are openingfor this years Bike Week likeweve never seen before. First ofall, we are blessed to have theNational East Rally only 50 milesfrom Laconia. Laconia begins onJune 8 and runs through June 16.The National Rally begins on June18 and runs through the 23. Wehave always been low on patchedCMAers at Laconia and have beenpraying for God to increase thewitness on the streets of this

event. Because of the NationalRally being up the road inFryeburg, Maine, we are hearingof many folks coming to the NorthEast that will be attendingLaconia, then the National.Second, we believe that oneonone ministry, on the streets, aswell as Bike Blessings along theboard walk is where God is leading. Not only do we see the promise of more CMAers, but the cityof Laconia has agreed to let usplace a Blessing Banner at theirtent on the board walk, which is amajor visitation location for bikers. In addition, they are willing todirect folks who want their bikeblessed to come across the streetto the church coffee house that weoperate. Thirdly, we have alreadybeen blessed with some donationsfrom brothers and sisters whowish to help with some of theexpenses of the ministry inLaconia. This has not happened tothis level in the past and is justone more reason that I believe, without doubt, that through perseverance God is faithful.

It is clear that God has a newfocus for the ministry at Laconia. Ipray that CMAers who are planning to come to the National Rallywill find the time to come earlyand be a part of the ministryblessings on the streets ofLaconia. Please be in prayer aboutcoming to New Hampshire thisJune and ask God to give youbelief and not to doubt His plansfor you to change at least oneheart for the kingdom on thestreets of Laconia in 2013. Ilove animals. People know that so Ive ended up

with a barn full of cats and kittens. Most of them

are barn cats and fairly wild but there is this one

special kitten. He looks like a blue point Siamese. Ive

tried to befriend this kitten and he always keeps his

eyes on me when Im feeding but he never lets me

very close. Sometimes I look up and see him watching

me like hes wondering about me. He knows I bring

food and I talk to him, but he has never felt my touch.

This is the way some people are with God. They know

about Him, but theyve never felt His touch.

One morning when I went to the barn to feed the

animals, the dogs went with me as usual. I have five

dogs ranging in size from very small to very large. As

I was feeding, I heard the sound of a kitten and then

saw the dogs running towards something. Some of

my dogs think cats are food, so I ran out in the direc

tion the dogs had gone. They had my pretty little kit

ten up a small tree. I went out to help but as I

reached for the kitten, it hissed and didnt want my

help. He had never felt my touch so he wouldnt

    accept my help.

Well this little kitten made a really bad choice; he

chose to go it on his own. The kitten leaped from the

tree and ran, but he wasnt nearly fast enough and

the dogs quickly caught him. I heard him fighting

with all he had, but his best was a joke compared to

    the power of these dogs.

I ran screaming at the dogs, hoping I could get

there in time to help. When I got there, the kitten was

still fighting with all his might. He even turned and

jumped on me thinking I, too, was out to hurt him,

not knowing I was there to help. Then he ran with

wide frightened eyes, and crying out for help, to the

top of a log where one of the older cats had also come

    to help.

I ran the dogs off and walked slowly towards the

kitten. The older cat stood there with the kitten, giv

ing it strength. This time when I reached towards the

kitten, it was still afraid of me and hissing but it was

even more afraid of facing those dogs again. I saw the

fear in the kittens eyes, so I first reached out to the

older cat and stroked her with love and kindness. I

let the kitten see this and then I reached out and

picked him up in my arms. He was frightened but

seemed to know I didnt intend to harm him, but help

him. He found the safety he needed, in my arms, even

though he didnt really know me.

This is how it is so often with people. They run and

run but in the end, life catches up to them and

although they fight with all they have, they cant win

without Gods help; His loving arms, His hand reach

ing for them, and His great strength. They cannot

make it on their own. If they would only look towards

God, even though they may be afraid. If they would

just give the battle over to God, give their life over to

Him, and let Him pick them up and hold them safely

    in His arms.

If you find yourself like that kitten, fighting a bat

tle you cant seem to win, look to God. Hes not judg

ing you. Hes reaching out for you. Wont you let Him

    pick you up?

You can have victory over the circumstances of

life. But even when the day comes to die, which will

happen for all of us, even when that day comes, you

can win. Because even with death here on earth, you

    can have life in

    Heaven with

    Jesus. Please

    look through

    the eyes of a

    frightened little

    kitten and LET

    GOD IN!

    If we can

    help, please

    give us a call.

On September 14, 2006, my husband, Jim, went

home to be with the Lord. My life hasnt been the

same since. Ive always known God is here to take

care of me in ways I am not even aware of, but this sum

mer God revealed His love and care for me in VERY obvi

    ous ways!

Prior to leaving for the NE state rally, my soninlaw

was investigating the source of a rattle on my trike and

discovered a broken clamp on a heat shield and a loose

exhaust pipe. He bandaided it and off I went to the rally.

When I returned I took the trike in for repair and they dis

covered a broken front motor mount!

Meanwhile, I began having problems with my lawn

mower. First God graciously kept two belts from shred

ding until I was done mowing; while it was in the shop I

also had the blades replaced. The next time I mowed the

pin holding the mower deck fell out. I was formulating a

plan when my cousin and her husband pulled up. Thank

you, God, for a helper! About a week later the back tire

went flat and almost rolled off the rim. I literally sat down

in the yard and cried! I could almost hear God saying Get

up and do something, Ill help! I tried a jack, but it was too

tall. Then I got the tractor and a chain, which got the

mower off the ground but the tire was still rolled. As I

turned away I heard a noise the tire rolled back into

place, Thank You, God! Putting air in failed. The tire was

not popped out on the bead. I decided to continue putting

air in the tire, hoping it would seal like it does at the repair

shop, it did!!! Thank you, God! (The same thing happened

with another tire 2 weeks later!)

While whining to my pastors, they reminded me this is

life, John 16:33! Less than two weeks later the rear motor

mount and the transmission case on the trike broke. I

laughed! (Tears over a flat tire and now laughing at a bro

ken trike, I have remembered that God is in control and

my peace is in Him!) I found out later, the belt was the

only thing holding the back wheels under the trike. Thank

God again for His protection and the opportunity to share

    salvation with my mechanic!

It was now the end of August, the trike is loaded and I

am headed to Wisconsin. 200 miles into the trip, while

preparing to exit into a rest area, I was shocked to find MY

SHIFTING LEVER GONE! Id been there less than 20 min

utes, trying to figure out what to do, when up the sidewalk

    (continue on page 26)

  • Every day you live, even now as a

teenager, you are given the oppor

    tunity to bargain your blessing.

You get the chance most every day to

make deals with your future. You can

value the blessings of Father God, take

the spiritual seriously, or you can live

for yourself, for your own hunger and

    desires.

The Scriptures say immoral and god

less people live for their own belly.

When I think of people living for their

own bellies, my mind goes to the wildly

    gluttonous and the extravagant

partiers. But its sneakier than that.

Think of yourself here. Where are you

indulgent and selfish? Where in your

life would you rather please yourself

than be the obedient son or daughter

    you know God desires.

The truth is, satan, the enemy of the

teenage soul, wants you to bargain

away your blessing and your identity as

Gods Child. If he can get you to not see

its value, he knows you will trade it for

a box of Twinkies. And the tempter has

lots of bargaining chips to play with. He

comes at us with everything he can

think of to sweeten the deal and entice

us to choose the now, the immediate,

over the blessing and the future.

    Sometimes students trade their

    birthright for pleasure, popularity or

    personal pride. Sex, partying, inappro

    priate relationships, porn, doing what

ever it takes to get acceptance, gives

away the greatest treasure of your life

for pennies. Even just being unwilling to

accept Christ as Lord of your life gives

away or trades the best thing in your life

    for worthless bowls of chili.

The greatest blessing in your life is

being a child of Almighty God. Its

    important you understand how valu

able it is to be one of Gods children. It is

a blessing of incalculable worth, so

much more valuable than any of the

temporary tricks the enemy sets on our

plates. Think about the value of being

    Gods child:

You have His unconditional love.God loves us, He sent His Son,

Jesus for us while we were unde

    serving sinners (Romans 5:8, 1

John 3:16). We know there is

nothing we can ever do to separate

us from His unconditional love for

    us (Romans 8:35,36).

You have His unending support.God supports and stands beside

those who bear His name (Psalm

    119:114,116). He gives His Spirit

and speaks through His word to

    strongly support us (2 Chronicles

    16:9).

You have His untiring care. He invites us to give our concerns

and needs to Him, because He real

ly and truly cares for us (1 Peter

    5:7; Philippians 1:6).

You have His unequaled provi-sions. He looks after you morethan the birds of the air and flow

ers in the field (Luke 12:2730). He

promises He will meet all our

    needs (Philippians 4:19).

You have all His unstoppable power. When God wants to dosomething, nothing can stop Him,

as His child you have that power

backing you up, moving in your life

    (Matthew 19:26).

This is what it means to be a child of

God. You have this inheritance, this

blessing on your life and on your future.

Dont devalue your blessing and bargain

it for cheap thrills or temporary pleas

ure. Dont trade all that it means to be a

child of God for a quick good time right

    now.

Value your blessing. Live for it. Make

a thought through decision to embrace

who you are: You are a teenager of God.

You have all the birthright of a firstborn

son or daughter the right to receive

    your Fathers wealth and blessings.

    2013

Riding season is here; ok for

some of us it never left.

    Regardless we should give a

little thought to planning before a

ride. When you jump on the bike

and head off on a trip you never

    really know what might happen.

    There is always the unknown.

Whether it is a bad thing like a

breakdown, or accident on the bike

or a good thing, like a ministry

    opportunity, you just dont know

    what to expect. Certainly you

should pray before you leave but

having the foresight to be prepared

    is wisdom.

In addition to your bikes OEM

or factory supplied tool kit it is a

good idea to prepare for roadside

repairs that require more than the

few basic items found in most

OEM kits. Heres a list of items to

consider. Remember this is not an

all inclusive list but it is a good

    starting place.

I have built similar kits for each

of my bikes. CMA sells a toolroll

that is perfect for this. I have three,

one for each bike. Actually I dont

even carry the OEM kits. I carry

everything I need to do anything

that can be done on the side of the

road or 50 miles out on a trail.

And of course, as a CMA member

you should plan for the ministry

    opportunities that God puts in

front of you. When that happens,

and it will, you should be prepared.

Here are a few essentials for your

    spiritual toolkit. Remember, these

are only the basics. There are

many more items that you could

    carry with you.

Riding a bike is fun and an

    adventure but as CMA members

thats not what its all about.

Whats it all about? (Say it with

me) Its all about Jesus! CMA

Here if you need us and

changing the world, oneheart at a time are very

familiar quotes to any of us who

have been in CMA for any time at

all, and it is always a joy to see

these words come to life in our

    ministry.

I just returned from our regional

    leadership conference in Phoenix,

    Arizona where I was personally

    blessed by the tremendous servant

hearts of the CMA folks in that

state! It was a huge corporate

    effort to make our Leadership

    Conference the wonderful event

that it was. So many helping hands!

I want to take a moment to recog

nize one member who I felt exem

plified all that we as CMA members

hope to achieve. I watched as this

    person selflessly made the trip

back and forth to the airport to get

those of us who flew into Phoenix

at all hours of the day and night.

The trip was 50 miles one way, and

    this person made multiple trips

per day. My first contact with

Paula was after a very long and

drawn out flight leaving both my

wife and I not only late, but physi

    cally drained. We were greeted

with a great big smile and a hug,

lots of positive input and lets get

    you guys some food.

    After the conference, Paula was

again there to make sure everyone

got to the airport on time for their

flight. This meant that for my wife

and I, as well as Larry Banister and

his wife Liz, we would be staying in

Paula's home since our flights left

quite early the next morning. Paula

gave up her room for the Banisters

and little John slept on a cot so

Nona and I could have his bed.

At 1 am I had to get Paula out of

bed so she could take me to the

hospital for a problem I was hav

ing. She was still smiling and serv

ing and blessing us with her love.

Of course after seeing that I was

checked in and being taken care of

she had to return home to pick up

Larry and Liz and get them off to

    the airport.

Since Nona and I had missed our

flight and would not be able to get

another one until the end of the

    week Paula, her brother Randy,

and their house guest John set

aside their lives and opened up

their homes to Nona and I for the

week. John gave us his room, Paula

drove my wife around helping her

get details worked out while I sat

in the hospital. Randy kept us

    entertained with his life stories.

    Paula Brown and her brother

Randy love CMA to say the least

and they are eager to help out in

any way they can. Mine and Nonas

    lives have been forever changed

because of their love for Jesus,

His people and especially the min

    istry of CMA !

    Thank you Arizona for such

    wonderful people! CMA

    Evangelist Article

As we get ready for anotherriding season. We have agreat opportunity, as we

look at Laconia Bike Week theweek before the National EastRally.

Below is just a taste of thingsthat can happen, when we followGods calling on our lives. TheHeartBeat isnt big enough forEileen and I to share the storiesand friends we made in Laconia. No matter how you look at them,we all need Jesus.

On the shores of beautiful LakeWinnipesaukee, along the weathered board walk and pier thatsecures the majestic cruise ship,The Mount Washington is thesetting of the oldest motorcyclerally in the US. Laconia Bike Weekhas been attracting motorcycliststo the mountains of NewHampshire for 90 years.

CMA has ministered to thesefolks for many years sharing Jesuson the streets, at the CoffeeHouse, in the booths, and at theHill Climb. As Gods children weneed to, be doers of the word, and not hearers only(James1:22, NKJV). Many of these bikerscome to Weirs Beach to consumeas many cans and bottles of beeras they can. In this way theydesensitize their bodies with afalse feeling of joy that earthlypleasures afford. CMA is there tooffer them an abundant life inChrist. But whoever drinks ofthe water that I shall give him, heshall never thirst (John 4:14,NKJV).

At our coffee house in theMethodist Church we offer twoAA Meetings each day. Often we

see up to 30 people, twice a day,who come to encourage eachother in their desire to resist alcohol. After several days and nightsit is easy to feel tired and wonderif our efforts are in vain. One daywhile sitting in our prayer area Iopened the Bible that was sittingon the table and was reminded ofthis verse, And let us not growweary while doing good, for indue season we shall reap if we donot lose heart (Galatians 6:9,NJKV). After reading and prayingawhile, I walked outside wondering if I should just go home for therest of the day. As I walked awayfrom the building I noticed a mancoming towards me. As wegained eye contact he asked ifsomeone could pray with him. Itold him I would be happy to.Richard went on to explain thathis wife had been diagnosed withcancer and was not expected tolive more than 12 months. Afterabout 35 minutes of praying withhim and sharing scripture withhim he acknowledged Christ asSavior. Then, concerned for hiswife, I explained how he couldshare Christ with her and how shecould accept Christ as well. Iknow he was blessed because hecontinued to hug me and weep onmy shoulder. As we parted Ithanked God for blessing me withplacing this lonely man in my pathat that moment and for allowingme to be used for His glory. At atime when I was ready to give upfor the day God had other plansby reminding me of His faithfulness through His word.

The next morning I remembered what Jesus said in Matthew,

Whoever acknowledges mebefore others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven(Matthew 10:32, NIV). A revivedspirit lifted my heart and sent meout in the crowds of people andbikes planting seeds of hope toanyone who would listen.

We need YOU to come toLaconia and share with boldnessthe Gospel of Jesus. Simply having Jesus in our hearts is notenough. Jesus tells us to be fishers of men, which means seekingand knocking, expecting doors tobe opened. We often are verymuch in need of workers as theharvest is great and the workersare few. Our faith and gift of salvation needs to be shared withothers. In the same way; faith byitself, if it is not accompanied withactions, is dead (James 2:17).

CMA is a light in this otherwisedark biker world in Laconia.Light is the only thing that canovercome darkness. Come andjoin other CMAers who are knownby their fruits at this rally. Wecan work together, changing theworld, one heart at a time. CMA

God is My Trip DirectorMission Trip Psalm

    The Lord is my Trip Director;

He makes me to spread my

    sleeping bag in strange places.

He leads me to places I have

    to carry my own safe water;

He restores my soul so I can

    share His love with others.

Even though I go thru security

    screens, wait in lines, ride

    planes, trains, busses, and

    crowded vans thru strange

    I fear no evil, for He is with me;

His trip staff, missionaries andteam members comfort me.

The Lord prepares a tablebefore me with native foodsthat are strange to me.

He anoints my head and handswith antimicrobial gel.

My cup of gladness and serviceoverflow,

Surely goodness and Mercy Iwill give out in Your Name,

And I will rest in the arms of the Lord when I have completed all my trips. CMA

Courage is a key to our walkwith Christ; we must havethe courage that it takes to

stand for Him. We must standbefore Him in private before wecan stand for him in public. Do westand for Him when no one is looking? Do we have the courage to sayno to our comforts of life to stopand read our Bible giving it time tospeak to us, or do we rush throughwithout giving it a thought? Ourtime is spent,we are beyondbusy so busythat we do not,and often feelas if we cannotmake the timefor Him. Butwhat are wespending ourtime on? Yes wemust work andprovide for our family, we need tospend time with our family andthere is our favorite sportingevents to watch or TV series that

draws us out. Then there are allthe rallies and ministry opportunities to consider. On top of all thatwe have to plan for meals andkeeping up with the house workand maintaining our vehicles. Then it is time to mow the yardand keep up with the maintenanceof the yard and house repair.

Where do we find the time ittakes to press on to the mark ofthe high calling? It cannot be

found, it doesnot exist. Wemust make thetime; the worldwill make surewe are too busyto spend timewith God. It willpull and drawus into thethought life thatwe do not haveenough time to

do what we have to, never mindspending time with God. What isimportant? That is the question to

ask ourselves. We must make upour mind what is important, lookat our life, and analyze what wefeel is the most important things. Then take a look at the Bible andsee what it says should be ofimportance to us. Now with thosethings in mind we can decide whatwe must spend our time on. Ibelieve that if we seek first theKingdom of God then he takes careof us. It is more important to takecare of my relationship with Himthen it is to be busy about ministry. I also believe that if we startto spend our time with Him Hewill lead us to the paths we shouldbe on. He brings changes to ourlives we need and helps us prioritize our lives. I believe that He willteach us what we have need of. Wewill never have enough time untilwe invest the time we have properly. That proper investment is inthe Word of God and in prayer toGod and for others. There are somany Christian activities to do,and books to read; that we can

walks Dennis & Connie Nuttleman (CrossRoad Riders

York, NE)! Dennis was able to get the shifting linkage into

a position that allowed the trike to be shifted by hand,

then volunteered to ride it to the Harley dealer in Albert

Lee, 90 miles away. I joked he was just tired of riding in

the truck! Ride it he did, wearing my helmet with the

Lady CMA sticker on the back! We arrived at the dealer

15 minutes before close, they had the parts, and in less

than 30 minutes, I was back on the road. Thank You, God!

As I began my trip home, I asked God to place a hedge

of protection around me. Ten miles east of Rochester, MN

a pickup passed me. I noticed the front passenger tire was

really bouncing. When he was 4 car lengths in front of me

THE TIRE BLEW! He was able to pull over safely and I

rode for the next hour singing Thank You, Lord! because

I knew that God was on the job again!!!

The next weekend, I went to the CMA Womens

Conference in LaVista, NE. Ruth Hale (NE Area Rep)

prayed for me, and part of her prayer was that God would

come along side me as a husband. God used that prayer to

open my eyes! I now have a new understanding of who

God is and how much He loves me! He has come along side

me and He has taken care of me in ways that Jim couldnt

have! He is everything He says He is THANK YOU, GOD!!!

    Isaiah 41:10

    Along with my

    understanding is

    the realization

    that God can still

    use me! I am still

    His and He has a

    plan to use me in

    ways that I can

    not imagine; I

    just need to be

    ready and will

ing!!!!! CMA Kathy Bennington is a member of the SalvationRiders chapter #805 of Norfolk, Nebraska.

learn more about what othersthink about the Bible yet neverlearn what the Bible says to us.God will speak and He will leadand we can trust Him in all things. We need to be professional Godfollowers. That is the best thingwe can do. We do the right thingby following Him. We look the bestwhen we follow Him. We areachieving the best when we followHim. He knows best and leads usto the best for His Kingdom. It isour destiny to follow Him and it isour time to follow that destiny.

It is through this investment intime that we have the type of walkwith Him that we know when tostep out and be bold and when toslip through the crowd unnoticed. We know when to strike the rockand get water and when not to. Heguides us into His kind of courage. He takes us through His disciplines of prayer and fasting, of

reading and searching out theWord. It is His plan to develop usfor His good work. In this walk ourcourage will come from Him. It isodd that Christians are called tohave courage and when it is notthere we take courage. Ever wonder why this Scripture is in theBible? But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, theimmoral, those who practicewitchcraft, idol worshipers, and allliarstheir fate is in the fiery lakeof burning sulfur. This is the second death (Revelation 21:8, NLT).

We must push on because thereis a world that needs the Christ werepresent; they need to see thelove that bought us. Can you bethat person? Will you start? Maketime for Him, demand it of yourself. Fight for it, strive for it, andyou will be rewarded for theefforts; the reward is the presenceof the Lord and there is nothing

like it. Nothing to compare to it, itis all the fruits of the Spirit withyou at one time. Oh for themoments of Gods presence in ourlives what comfort, what peace, what glory. How I love him, howprecious is He to me He is my all inall, my God and my King. Learn totrust him, he is trust worthy. Youcan make a difference if only youare found in Him. CMA
