BACKGROUND

The One Belt One Road project (OBOR), initiated by the Chinese government, is presented as the new Silk Road. This plan aims at further developing a comprehensive range of port and logistics infrastructures to secure the most efficient solutions for imports and exports between Asia and Europe.
