Started in Toronto in 1985, Club Monaco’s blend of

high-end luxury with mid-priced accessibility have coalesced over the past

30 years to create a successful, long-lasting

brand. Founders Joe Mimran and Alfred Sung

sold the company to Ralph Lauren Corporation in

1999, but Polo has mostly let them operate as an

independent entity within the brand.

club monaco is doing a fantastic job building their online presence, but here at Verbal+visual we never

stop brainstorming. we’ve come up with some additional ideas to take club monaco’s digital brand

even further, increasing user activity on a global scale, and allowing customers to experience the

rebooted stores on an interactive level.



As part of the movement to give each store its own unique identity, club monaco is partnering with local vendors to share

the space. With these new alliances, the opportunities for in-store events grow,

drawing in otherwise untapped crowds to club monaco locations. Allowing

customers to view multi-city listings online would drive pre-event promotion via

Facebook and twitter, and keep the buzz alive through live tweets and photos. With customers everywhere participating in the

virtual experience, hashtags have never been so stylish!

the look of their store’s interior. With each one proving to be so
