VERNER PANTON (1926-1998) was a master of the fluid, futuristic style of 1960s design which introduced the Pop aesthetic to furniture and interiors.

He designed the cloverleaf sofa in 1969 for the Visiona exhibition as a spectacular eyecatcher and yet a comfortable place to rest and talk - he ended up creating an icon-ic piece that truly functions as a social piece bringing people closer to each other. And he could not help it...
