MORE USE CASES
On-premise IT Platform
WS*REST/JSON
Oracle ICS
• The first two use cases have something in common: Oracle Apps either to generate the information or receive it
• But what about if we have a diversity of apps on premise are in the Cloud. For example: SAP HR on-premise and any HR solution in the Cloud.
• Can the Oracle ICS or Oracle SOA CS be used for such type of integrations? Yes. Absolutely.
It will depend on the type of integration that you need to deliver, in order to decide if ICS or SOA CS are needed, or even both. But let’s try to keep it simple:
1. Synchronous integration, WS based integration. No need of long running integrations, simple integration patterns, then Oracle ICS will be the first choice
2. Long running integrations, multiple protocols to mediate; business rules are needed; real time business activity monitoing (BAM) is also a needed, human workflow as well, then SOA CS is needed.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN HR
On-premise IT Platform
WS*REST/JSON
Oracle ICS
• HR is one of the organization silos that has more options for adopting Cloud based Solutions. Most of the large vendors already have their HCM Solutions in the Cloud. But not just them, but small niche companies offer different alternatives for doing HR tasks such as recruiting, incidences, payroll, etc
• That has caused a lot of integration needs in the cloud. Cloud based integration needs
• Also, because of the API economy, it has caused some new business models for Talent Management Hubs. APIs are used to integrate with those cloud Solutions
Oracle ICS and Oracle SOA CS are the best option in the market for making the HR integration possible. Different vendors, different clouds, different APIs; it ain’t matter with Oracle ICS and Oracle SOA CS any type of integration is possible.
