!..The Buzzword..!
The perfect definition of Cloud Computing is still “cloudy”.
Cloud computing is simply a buzzword used to repackage grid computing and utility computing, both of which have existed for decades.

SaaS
• Sometimes called as “On demand Software”.
Service Providers:
• iCloud• Gmail, Hotmail• Salesforce.com

Iaas
• Also known as Hardware as a Service (HaaS).
• Client typically pays on a per-use basis.
Service Providers:• Amazon Web Services• IBM

Paas
• Platforms enable application developers to host their services.
Service Providers:• Microsoft Azure• Google App Engine

Cloud Deployment Models
• Private Cloud
• Public Cloud
• Hybrid cloud
![Page 12: Cloud Computing](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022060116/5583d25dd8b42a61638b4ff1/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
Private Cloud
• These services are managed and provided with in an organization characterized by less restriction on bandwidth. Fewer security restrictions and legal requirements compared to public cloud
• Example: HP Data centers
![Page 13: Cloud Computing](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022060116/5583d25dd8b42a61638b4ff1/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
Public Cloud
• Services are delivered to the client via internet from third party service provider
• Example: AmazonGoogle DriveDrop box
![Page 14: Cloud Computing](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022060116/5583d25dd8b42a61638b4ff1/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
Hybrid cloud
• It is a combination of services provided by the Private and public cloud
• Example: ERP in private cloud Sales & Email in public
![Page 15: Cloud Computing](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022060116/5583d25dd8b42a61638b4ff1/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)

Pros & Cons Of Cloud Computing
![Page 17: Cloud Computing](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022060116/5583d25dd8b42a61638b4ff1/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
Risks in Cloud Computing
• Privileged user access
• Regulatory compliance
• Data location
• Recovery
![Page 18: Cloud Computing](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022060116/5583d25dd8b42a61638b4ff1/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
Future Aspects• Mobile Cloud
Computing
• Social Software
• Low-power processor and Green IT
• Faster Interconnects
• Hybrid Cloud Computing
![Page 19: Cloud Computing](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022060116/5583d25dd8b42a61638b4ff1/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
Conclusion• The cloud provides many options for the
everyday computer user as well as large and small businesses.
• The cloud is a big target for malicious individuals and may have disadvantages because it can be accessed through an unsecured internet connection.
• It has both pros and cons. We should learn and implement this technology as this has great future ahead.
