Parts were not toleranced therefore adjustments had to be made such as the inclusion of a lip and groove and removal of excessive internal ribs and tolerancing male/female parts - Materials required for ‘brownie kit package’ were made clear - Instructions to follow step by step procedure were well considered and easy to understand - Manufacturing methods were able to be exploited, therefore some changes in production methods occurred. .DXF for laser cutting was not utilised to save time - Overall the concepts provided were widely varied yet complied with the given brief - Was pleasing to see prototyping/ mock ups of designs being made throughout the process by Austrian team, not purely their finalised design. - Justification/ reasoning for ‘wobble brownie’ would have been a good inclusion. Still unsure of intended use/ need. The brief sent out had stated the following requirements that had to be met by our collaborators: - Needs to be handheld. Non digital medium. Complied well, and achieved to a satisfactory standard - Stated Maker Bot in manufacturing processes. Met requirement, was included within the final product - Primary aim to instil values of brownie folklore. Product achieved this well, scope of gift allows for greater participation/inter action from child when older - Free promotional gift We feel the giveaway aspect is feasible, both innovative and new. We can see this product being sold - Deliverables Project milestones were detailed but there were delays regarding the final prototyping instructions. Specified 4-7th November, recieved 13th November

As a group we found our Austrian collaborators as designers thoroughly understood our brief requirements concern-ing the importance of our folklore morals. We felt the final prototype presented by Team 6 envisioned many of these underlying values by making the child express somewhat of an active concern with a particular problem or situation without the requirement to fully resolve the situation.

For instance, a child could who’s shirt might have a small tear in it would might be too young to use a sewing machine themselves (our brief simply stated the product should be aimed at children beyond the age of 3) would place a ‘needle and thread’ sticker on the item. This would demonstrate the child intentionally drawing attention to the problem with-out the need for gratification or reward from others. We feel the values instilled onto the child by the product would later persuade them to actively fix the problem themselves, when they are able to use the tools required for the job.

- Solid continued replies by Team 3 with prompt response throughout project- Effective and constructive communication through Skype and the online blog- Skype communication was concise: taking turns between client and designer roles- Reassuring to have enforced comments stating requests have been recieved and shall be adhered to- Well formatted slides for initial concepts, developed ideas, manufacturing instructions etc.

- Manufacturing the ‘wobbler ’ proved to be problematic, CAD files were acceptable however the process of printing required additional work. Parts were not toleranced therefore adjustments had to be made such as the inclusion of a lip and groove and removal of excessive internal ribs and tolerancing male/female parts- Materials required for ‘brownie kit package’ were made clear- Instructions to follow step by step procedure were well considered and easy to understand- Manufacturing methods were able to be exploited, therefore some changes in production methods occurred. .DXF for laser cutting was not utilised to save time

- Overall the concepts provided were widely varied yet complied with the given brief

- Was pleasing to see prototyping/ mock ups of designs being made throughout the process by Austrian team, not purely their finalised design.

- Justification/ reasoning for ‘wobble brownie’ would have been a good inclusion. Still unsure of intended use/ need.

The brief sent out had stated the following requirements that had to be met by our collaborators:

- Needs to be handheld. Non digital medium. Complied well, and achieved to a satisfactory standard

- Stated Maker Bot in manufacturing processes. Met requirement, was included within the final product

- Primary aim to instil values of brownie folklore. Product achieved this well, scope of gift allows for greater participation/inter action from child when older

- Free promotional gift We feel the giveaway aspect is feasible, both innovative and new. We can see this product being sold

- Deliverables Project milestones were detailed but there were delays regarding the final prototyping instructions. Specified 4-7th November, recieved 13th November
