Clicker 6.16 (Win/Mac) Creating a Custom Stamping Activity in Clicker 6 Introduction You can create custom stamping activities in Clicker 6 using the default stamps or by adding your own that are topic specific. These fun activities provide an interactive multimedia learning environment for students. The stamping activities allow the student to stamp pictures that relate to a topic onto a background. Being able to participate and create a stamped activity provides them with an opportunity to show what they know about a topic visually. Stamping activities will allow the student to create dazzling pieces (related to a topic) independently in Clicker 6. This tutorial assumes…
• The Clicker 6 program is installed on your computer. • You know how to navigate Clicker 6. • You know how to Edit a Clicker Set. • You have saved images for the activity in a file in My Computer-My Documents-My
Pictures (for a Mac, Finder-Pictures) or you know how to locate the desired images from the libraries in Clicker 6
Learning Objectives Completion of this tutorial will give you experience with the following:
• Locating and opening a Clicker Book Making template. • Moving from Run mode to Edit mode to customize a Clicker Set. • Changing the Standard Buttons to All Buttons – Silk. • Working with the General and Tools features in the Clicker Paint Details window. • Removing current stamps from the stamp display window. • Creating and adding new stamps either from Crick Pictures, PCS library, photos or
other libraries.
Case Study Sam is a grade 3 student studying forest animals. He needs to create a drawing for his project. He cannot use a pencil and will rely on the stamp tools in Clicker Paint to create a picture and demonstrate his knowledge for his class assignment.

Add additional stamping pages to the book. To create additional custom stamping activities or pages repeat the same process as above. If you want to use the same pictures throughout the book copy the Paint button and paste it to the additional pages in the book. The stamps you created for the one page will be copied to each page the button is pasted onto. You can change the text prompts to create a variety of activities using different concepts e.g. Add a large moose and a small wolf to the picture; add 3 wolves and 2 deer to the picture, stamp one animal that rhymes with goose and one that rhymes with box on the picture etc. Congratulations! You have just created some new stamps for your student to use in their Clicker activities.
