STONE SHEEP, GRIZZLY BEAR, CARIBOU,
MOOSE, WOLF HUNTS IN THE YUKON TERRITORY The Yukon Territory is renowned for its wild and
uncompromising land which is home to some of the most
abundant big game in North America. This outfitter holds
the license to operate in the largest game- guiding area in the
Yukon. It is located in south-central Yukon, northeast of
Whitehorse covering approximately 321,600 square miles of
hunting paradise. Large areas of the outfit are remote;
accessible only by plane or horseback, and a northern part of
the area has never been commercially hunted. The terrain,
which ranges from mountains, high plateaus, grassy slopes
and forested valleys provides natural habitat for all species
of big game. Numerous lakes and streams offer great fishing
for the sportsman.
The primary games in the area are Stone and Fannin
Sheep, Grizzly Bear, Caribou, Alaska/Yukon Moose,
Wolves and Wolverine. Game birds consist of Ptarmigan
and grouse. Lakes and streams offer abundant Arctic
Grayling and Lake Trout. Hunters are flown into one of our
base camps by plane. Our base camps are well located for easy
access to big game. Our camp facilities are simple and straight
forward yet comfortable. Camp facilities include tent-frames,
with ample room for two people, log and frame buildings
equipped for dining where applicable, a boat for fishing, first
aid equipment and suitable communication equipment. Each
hunter is assigned a licensed guide for the duration of the hunt.
This ensures that you will receive top quality personalized
service. There are two airlines that fly to Whitehorse, Yukon. Air
North (www.flyairnorth.com) connects in Edmonton , Alta, Calgary,
Alta and Vancouver, B.C. and Air Canada (www.aircanada.ca)
which connects in Vancouver . Upon arrival in Whitehorse an
expediter will meet you at the airport and make sure that you get to
your hotel and on the way to base camp. You will be transported to the hunting area the day before your hunt begins, therefore you
should ensure that you arrive in Whitehorse , prior to the day of transportation. The outfitter states that he is not liable for any
changing of schedule due to weather or late planes etc.
