Sink + Tile Scrub

I N G R E D I E N T S :

1/2 cup baking soda 5 drops lemon essential oil 1 capful Thieves household cleaner 3 drops Thieves essential oil

D I R E C T I O N S :

Combine the above ingredients in a small container to make a paste. Add more baking soda if necessary. Test a small spot first for possible surface scratching. With a soft brush or scrub cloth, clean desired surface. Rinse with water or clean wet cloth to remove residue + finish with soft dry cloth.

Bathroom Spray

I N G R E D I E N T S :

20 drops Purification essential oil 5 drops Bergamot essential oil 5 drops Geranium essential oil 2 drops Lavender essential oil

D I R E C T I O N S :

In this order, add essential oils to a 4 oz. glass spray bottle. Add approximately 3 oz. distilled water and approximately 1 oz. witch hazel. 

Spray when bathroom needs a little fresh scent ;)

Foaming Hand SoapI N G R E D I E N T S :

2 TBS Liquid Castile Soap Essential oils (below) 1 capful Thieves Cleaner

D I R E C T I O N S :

Combine above ingredients in foaming hand pump dispenser and fill to within 1" of top with water.

Bathroom: 10 drops Lemon Myrtle essential oil 10 drops Orange essential oil

Kitchen: 5 drops Lavender essential oil 5 drops Rosemary essential oil 5 drops Lemon essential oil

Children's Bathroom: 5 drops Lemon Myrtle essential oil 5 drops Lavender essential oil 5 drops Cedarwood essential oil

Dishwasher Detergent.

I N G R E D I E N T S :

1 cup baking soda 1/4  cup citric acid 15 drops Lemon essential oil 10 drops Orange essential oil 1 Cup Borax

D I R E C T I O N S :

Mix together in a large container with a tight fitting lid. Add a sachet of white rice to absorb moisture. Use 2 TBS per load.

Making your own detergent will ensure you are paying the lowest amount for

clean, green dishes (which touch your food,ya'll.) But if you prefer not to make

your own and have it within your budget to pay a bit more, make sure you run

your brand through the EWG site to ensure it gets a high rating for safety.

Hardwood Floor Cleaner

I N G R E D I E N T S :

1 Gallon hot water

1/2 cup olive oil

1/4 cup Thieves Cleaner

3-5 drops of Orange or Pine

essential oil

D I R E C T I O N S :

ADd the above together in a

bucket. Using a soft cleaning

cloth, soak the cloth into the

water, ring excess water,

and wash a small 4x4 section

of floor. Immediately wipe

dry with a soft cloth and

move to the next section of

flooring.

RECIPE #1: DEEP CLEAN

**some of us prefer to dip a spray bottle into the bucket, fill it and spray + mop the areas. Refill bottle from bucket till floor is finished. It's just once a week! Put on some Beyonce and get after it.

Safe, Sanitizing Toy Soak

D I R E C T I O N S :

Fill a tub with water, dump your water-safe toys in there which need a deep, sanitizing clean. Add 2 capfuls of Thieves Cleaner and swirl around. Soak for 20-30 minutes. Done!

Throw in some pacis, bottles, and sippy cups while you're at it! For toys which cannot be soaked, simply dip a brush in your tub water and scrub them on a towel on the floor. 

For legos: Fill a washing machine nylon bag intended for delicates with your legos. Set in the water along with your other toys. So many little pieces so EASILY cleaned and kept together. Empty bag on a towel and allow to fully air dry. Simply pick up the four corners of the towel and dump back in the regular lego slot.

Degreaser: Combine 1 capful cleaner with 2 cups water. For heavy cleaning, use half or quarter the amount of water. If necessary, use a cloth to apply Thieves household cleaner undiluted. After cleaning, wipe the area with a cloth dampened with water. 

Glass & Mirror: Combine 1 capful cleaner, 5 drops Citrus Fresh essential oil blend, 1 tsp. white vinegar, and 3 cups water.

Combine 1 cup each Borax, Washing Soda & 1 bar of castile soap (bronners or Kirk's) in a food processor. When it turns to powder add 20 drops Purification oil. Stir again. Store incontainer. Use 1 TBS per HE load. 2 TBS top loader.

D I Y P O W D E R E D S O A P

Invest in a set of wool dryer balls from Amazon or Young Living. Throw them in the dryer with every load and they will soften your laundry, chemical-free. Plus you'll save hundreds of $$ on household bills. Lasts about 300 loads.

S O F T E N I T

2 gallon bucket

2 gallons water

1/2 cup washing soda

1/2 cup baking soda

3/4 cup liquid castile soap

30 drops essential oils

large wooden/plastic spoon

2 1 gallon containers

D I Y   L I Q U I D   S O A P

INGREDIENTS:

Pour 1/2 cup washing soda to 2 gallon bucket.

Add just enough hot tap water to cover the washing soda. Stir well to

dissolve.

Pour 1/2 cup Baking Soda into the water/soda mixture. Stir well to

dissolve.

Fill up your bucket all the way to the top with hot tap water, only

leaving about 1/2 inch of room on top. 

Pour 3/4 cup liquid castile soap to the bucket. We recommend

Bronner's.

Add 30 drops essential oils. Choose combos which smell pleasant to

you! Lavender & Purification are good!

Stir till combined and pour detergent into 2 1 gallon glass bottles.

DIRECTIONS:

TO USE: Add 1/3 cup detergent in with dirty clothes and wash as normal. Contents may settle so shake before each use. Store in a warmer area to keep from clumping.

TIP: Keep all ingredients in your 2 gallon bucket and use the bucket just for your laundry soap so it stays clean and it's ready to go anytime you need to remake a batch!
