BAND-SEAL CHEMICAL COUPLINGSThe range of Hathernware Band-Seal chemically resistant couplings offersthe chemical and process industries the advantage of a modern, mechanical,flexible jointing system for any plain end pipe system.• Elastomeric Sleeve - Manufactured in high grade EPDM or Nitrile elastomers

conforming to EN681-1.• Clamping Bands - Manufactured in a high corrosion resistant austenitic

stainless steel to EN10088. Where external contamination demands a higherquality stainless, this can be supplied to order.

• Fluoropolymer Liner - A one-piece seamless FEP element located within theelastomeric sleeve. Expanded PTFE secondary seals ensure a leak tight jointbetween the FEP and the pipe. For the best results and to ensure a close fitbetween the liner and pipe the FEP liner is heat shrunk on site. The liner andseal are chemically inert and resistant to virtually all chemicals.

• Adaptor Couplings - Available where pipes of different outside diametersrequire connecting.

NAYLOR HT SLEEVE COUPLINGSWhere Chemical resistance is less of a priority but effluents are subject tothermal cycling, it may be possible to specify Naylor HT Sleeve couplings toconnect HT pipes and fittings.
