During my permanence in Milan I took active part in the analisys of GISSI 2 Trial, in the design and analisys of the GISSI Avoidable Delay Study and in the design of the GISSI 3 Trial. Steering Committee membership: Member of the Steering Committee in the GISSI_Avoidable Delay Study (national survey on pre-hospital delay in MI patients, published in Arch Intern Med 1995), the LATIN Study (national study on the modifications of lipoprotein levels in the acute phase of MI and Unstable Angina, published in Italian Heart Journal), BLITZ-2 Study (national survey on NSTE Coronary syndromes). Has participated in the protocol writing groups in several GISSI substudies and also in the IN-CHF national heart failure Database]. Vice-National Coordinator for ASSENT 3 and ASSENT 3 Plus Studies.
