ClassiFormer delivers high orming

accuracy and stability or surace, core

and combined mat orming in modern

particleboard production. The superior

eatures o ClassiFormer ensure accu-

rate process optimization and signi-

cantly improved production economy.

The compact design makes it ideal orrebuilds and retrots.

ClassiFormer technology is recognized

globally as the leading orming techno-

logy or particleboard production lines.

This has been proven in more than 250

installations worldwide. The producers

using ClassiFormer have reported signi-

cant raw material savings, improved

end-product quality and short paybacktime.

Accurate and stable mat orming

Elimination o oversized particles

Superior control o fake classication

Low operating costs

The compact ClassiFormer requires

much less space than conventional

orming machines. The low space

requirements make it ideal or rebuilds

and retrots. Overall investment cost

is reduced since the need or building

height, support structures and plat-

orms is much less than in conventional

orming stations.

Installation and start-up are simple

and ast, maximizing overall produc-

tion uptime. This versatile orming

machine can be installed in virtually

all production lines: single daylight

lines, multi-opening lines, continuous

press lines and lines with stationery or

moving orming stations.

The elimination o oversized particles

is carried out with the roller bed and

reject belt conveyor. This prevents

damage to press platens and steel belts

caused by large and heavy particles,

such as fakes, dust balls or glue. Re-moval o glue spots also improves the

surace quality.

ClassiFormer delivers superior fake

classication. The larger fakes can be

placed on the outer core, which results

in improved cross-directional and ben-

ding strength.

Due to the controlled fake classica-

tion, the ClassiFormer is quickly and

easily adjustable to accommodate pro-

duction o dierent grades o panels

or urniture, fooring and building

materials – a eature that helps to meet

a wide range o customer needs.

The high orming accuracy and stabi-

lity o ClassiFormer makes it possible

to produce high-quality panels at low

densities, without compromising the

uniorm surace quality or minimum

thickness tolerance. The ne and uni-orm surace produced by ClassiFormer

signicantly improves the economy and

eciency o the laminating process due

to the absence o glue lumps and spots

o dust and glue.

Combined with the unctionality o the

orming bin, the unique, sel-cleaning

rollers ensure high orming accuracy

without daily or weekly cleaning. As a

result, machine uptime is maximized

resulting in the highest production

capacity utilization.

The ClassiFormer has been on the

market or more than 15 years and

has proven to be a denite leader in

orming installations. The new eatures

have been developed continuously to

urther improve the unctionality.A weigh scale has been installed into

the orming bin to provide inorma-

tion about fake discharge fow rom

the bin. This replaces the scales in the

orming conveyor. The control o mat

weight is improved since fake fow

inormation is now received without

delays. This also accelerates production

starts and changes.

Motor Control Cabinet (MCC) is embed-

ded to orming machine, which means

that cabling rom MCC to motors and

sensors is pre-installed. This urther

shortens start-up and installation time.

Compared with conventional wind or-

mers, ClassiFormer requires only a small

percentage o the air quantities, which

signicantly reduces dust emissions and

energy consumption.

ClassiFormer contributes to the eci-

ent use o raw materials. Accurate or-

ming is maintained continuously along

the length o the station, even during

orming line stop and start phases. The

machine design simplies width adjust-

ment and material return techniques,

which improves material yield. The

material recycled rom the mat-width

adjustment device is ed back to the

ormer without mixing the surace and

core material.

As a result o lower wood, resin and

energy consumption, the unique

operating principle o ClassiFormer

is environmentally sound as well as

cost ecient.

The ClassiFormer SF has been designed

to improve the surace quality and

lower the surace layer thickness. An

additional top roller bed in the

ClassiFormer SF model oers signicant

benets by improving the economy

and eciency o urther process stages,

such as sanding, painting or

laminating. The unique Unieed rollers

in the end o the roller bed make

ClassiFormer SF suitable or plants using

recycled or annual plant raw materials.

They also increase the orming capacity,

which is up to 3,100 m3 /d. Due to the

use o two roller levels, the orming

head is short, reducing the length o

the orming line.

ClassiFormer™ CC

ClassiFormer core machines (models C

and CC) provide homogeneous or clas-

sied core layer quality or high-capa-

city particleboard plants. The CC-model

is equipped with one orming bin and

two orming heads. Consequently, only

one unit is needed in a orming station.

The CC-model provides capacity up to

1,400 m3 /d.

The ClassiFormer SC combines surace

and core orming by using a mixture o

surace and core fakes in the mat

orming. As a result, only two machines

are needed to produce the mat.

Compared with conventional,

separate surace and core machines,

ClassiFormer SC is highly space-ecient

and requires only simple conveyor

arrangements. Both stationary and

moving orming stations are available,

with capacities up to 800 m3 /d.
