MLA Jagtap, Shatrughna Kate meet MSEDCL officials

Local Corporator Shatrughan Kate, along

with Rajesh Patil(Kunal Icon) have con-

cluded a meeting with MLA Laxman Jagtap

along with all the officials of MSEDCL.

During the meeting, MSEDCL’s Chief En-

gineer Ramrao Munde, Superintendent Engi-

neer Mahendra Diwakar, Additional Executive

Engineer Dhawal Sawant and other officials

were present. MLA Laxman Jagtap and Sha-

trughan Kate discussed about various issues

and suggestions regarding power, extra cables

and avoiding moisture trapping in cables.

MSEDCL officials also informed that few

extra cable line will be installed across the

feeder to avoid power cuts as well as to dis-

tribute the load of power supply.

LED pole inau-guration, tree plantation drive by Vinayak GaikwadOn July 16, LED pole inauguration and

tree plantation program was held by

Corporator Vinayak Gaykwad at Pink City

road, Wakad. In the area of Pink city, there

was no LED pole. Due to this, the residents

were facing inconvenience during the night.

Within a week, LED poles were installed

across the area. Residents appreciated the

installation of LED poles. A tree plantation

program was also organized by Vinayak

Gaykwad. During the event, Vinayak Gayk-

wad informed the residents about his “Green

City- Wakad City” plan.

Vinayak Gaykwad said, “Every year,

we distribute tree to various societies. If

societies will plant trees, then our area will

be green.”

Abhijeet Deshpande, Abhijeet Gadkar,

Ralesh Kumar, Vishvas Joshi, Satish Agar-

wal, Mukesh Goosawi, Bhushan Bhatkar,

Basavraj Gumajape, Vilas Mahalle, Ramdas

and Municipal Corporation employees were

present for the event.
