Legion FROM PAGE 8 that run,” Coach Kropuenske said. “Any time you don’t score, it makes everyone nervous. It helped getting those runs late yesterday (Beresford scored all four of its runs in Friday’s loss in the seventh inning), and in the first inning today.” Beresford also scored its second run of the game on a bases-loaded walk. The Beresford offense broke through in the fifth inning, as Van Gelder had a RBI single, followed by a two-run single from Antonson. “Those three in the fifth were big,” Coach Kropuenske said. Dell Rapids scored in the seventh on Goeken’s pinch-hit single, followed by the Miller double. But Tyler Kro- puenske got the next batter to fly out, ending the contest. To keep the season going one more day, the team will need to be ready to go right away, Tyler Kropu- enske said. “We need to bring the energy, be confident and have a lot of focus,” he said. “Yesterday we didn’t have a lot of focus and energy. Tomorrow we definitely need to be ready to go.” Follow @JCimburek on Twitter. Beresford FROM PAGE 8 JAMES D. that run,” Coach Kropuenske said. “Any time you don’t score, it makes everyone nervous. It helped getting those runs late yesterday (Beresford scored all four of its runs in Friday’s loss in the seventh inning), and in the first inning today.”

Beresford also scored its second run of the game on a bases-loaded walk.

But Tyler Kro-puenske got the next batter to fly out, ending the contest.

To keep the season going one more day, the team will need to be ready to go right away, Tyler Kropu-enske said.

“We need to bring the energy, be confident and have a lot of focus,” he said. “Yesterday we didn’t have a lot of focus and energy. Tomorrow we definitely need to be ready to go.”
