Senior Survey & Maryland State Senior Survey❖ In English classes: End of April - Beginning of
May the beginning of May indicating what college they want their final transcript to be sent.
❖ The registrar uses this to send the final transcripts.

❖ Final transcripts are not available until the first week of July. At that time, Mrs. Bonner will be sending the final transcripts to the colleges via Naviance.
❖ All final transcripts should be sent to the colleges by July 10th. If the college is an international school, please make arrangements with Mrs. Bonner regarding sending the final transcript.
❖ If your student's college is asking for transcripts earlier, please contact them and explain that MCPS transcripts are not available until July.
❖ No fee for sending final transcripts

Prom❖ Limit of 2 tickets per senior; dates not necessary❖ Only B-CC seniors and their guests may attend❖ Must present a valid B-CC ID to purchase a ticket❖ Seniors bringing a B-CC guest must have the guest
present at time of purchase and both students must present a valid B-CC ID to purchase a ticket
❖ Seniors bringing a non-B-CC guest must submit a completed and approved guest form when purchasing the ticket in person
❖ Students and guests must clear all obligations BEFORE they may purchase a ticket
❖ Promposals should not interrupt class instruction -plan them for before school, after school or during lunch
Prom❖ Dress Code: Formal❖ Formal portraits will be taken at Prom and will be
available afterwards to download at no cost❖ Students wishing to change for After Prom may
check 1 bag upon arriving at Prom● Students will NOT have access to their bags
during Prom and students going to After Prom will have bags transferred over to Dave & Busters
● Fillmore security will review contents in checked bags
● Students needing access to medical supplies must notify Mr. Easton in writing by May 9th
Prom❖Officers from the Alcohol Prevention Team will be
present at Prom and After Prom.
❖Students who are in possession of an illegal substance such as drugs, alcohol, vaping devices/e-cigarettes, etc., or are under the influence of an illegal substance, or who distribute an illegal substance will be subject to the school disciplinary consequences including possible exclusion from graduation activities on a case-by-case basis, in alignment with the Code of Conduct.
After Prom
❖ Dave & Buster’s
❖ 12:00 am – 5:00 am FREE for all seniors and their dates (if dates attended Prom). ALL seniors are invited – even those who do not attend Prom (dates not included if do not attend Prom)
❖ Dress Code: Casual – change into your casual clothes at Dave & Busters

❖ Consider making a contribution toward covering the cost
of the event. Checks should be made payable to the B-CC
HS PTSA, note in the memorandum that it's for After
Prom and mail them to the attention of the PTSA treasurer,

❖ Volunteers needed: We’ll need parents of underclassmen
to chaperone and assist with coat check and registration.

Senior Breakfast
❖Wednesday May 29 9:30a.m. – 1:00 p.m.Following the senior breakfast and cap and gown distribution:Main gym at B-CC, which will be set up like DAR Constitution Hall. All seniors MUST attend the ENTIRE rehearsal. If a student does not attend, he/she may lose his or her opportunity to participate in the graduation ceremony. The rehearsal will last until approximately 1:00 p.m.

Hall❖ Graduation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
and will conclude around 11:45 a.m. ❖ Doors will close at 9:55 a.m. for the
processional and will reopen afterwards – approx. 10:15 a.m.
Tickets❖ Admission to Constitution Hall by ticket
only❖ Each graduate receives 4 tickets❖ Tickets distributed on Wednesday, May
29 at 8:00 a.m. in the school cafeteria❖ Return unneeded tickets to Mrs. Schaus❖ Submit request for additional tickets
using the link provided in the graduation packet - mailed and online
Student Attire❖ Graduation is serious…Dress Appropriately❖ Female students: skirts, dresses, or slacks❖ Male students: dress shirts, ties, dress pants❖ Dress shoes for all students❖ Not permitted: tennis shoes, casual sandals,
flip-flops, shorts, or jeans❖ No decorations or alterations to caps/gowns
except for honor society cords, IB medallions & pins, etc.
Arrival at Constitution Hall❖ Graduation: 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30❖ Students arrive no later than 8:45 a.m.❖ Students enter at C or D Street lobby❖ Doors open to public at 9:15 a.m.❖ Admission for public by ticket only❖ Doors close at 9:55 a.m. for line-up and
processional; doors reopen after processional❖ Buses leave B-CC at 7:30 a.m. ($15.00 per
person) and will leave DAR to return to BCC about 20-30 minutes after the ceremony.
❖ DEADLINE to reserve a seat: April 26
Arrival at Constitution Hall
❖ We offer chartered buses for graduates, family, and invited guests for $15 per person.
❖ Bus reservations can be made using the links given in the graduation packet on the B-CC website. Space on the buses is limited and should be completed by April 26.
❖ DAR is about 7-8 blocks from the Farragut West and North Metro stops.
Photography and Video❖ Graduation flash drives available for purchase for $25
when ordered in advance (order forms included in the graduation packet)
❖ Victor O’Neill Studios will take pictures at graduation. To view and purchase Graduation photos, visit

Post GraduationLuncheon
❖ The PTSA will host a post graduation luncheon in the school’s cafeteria
