Congratulations on your accomplishment! You have fi lled our lives with joy and laughter! You have so much to offer – This is just the beginning!

Now... Get out of my house or rent will be due on June 1st! :)

Happy 18th Birthday!!

Love Mom & Dad

Andrew, Andrew, Andrew :)You’re fi nally going to be moving... well hopefully! lol jk. I can’t believe gradu-ation is already here... You’ve come a long way and I am soo proud of you. Even though you annoy me A LOT and drive me crazy, you still make me laugh and I enjoy being around you. We’ve had fun memories that I won’t forget. You’re right when you say “You’re life would be boring without me”, it’s being a little con-ceited, but true. You’re the only one I can

really be goofy with. All the funny and dumb things we do :D haha. You were always there for me and we would talk about anything and every-thing. You would open my eyes and would really make me realize things more. When people tell me they wish they had a close relationship like me and you it makes me feel happy and proud. I appreciate everything that you’ve done and I’m very grateful to have a brother like you. You’re one of a kind (: I wish you the best in college and I know you will continue to make us all proud! I believe in you and I know your dreams will come true! (: Just know I will ALWAYS be here for you Luis and that is never going to change. I LOVE YOU brother! <3 And you better behave in college you hippo! :D

Love your sister (the best) AndreaOhh and P.S. I had to keep this censored, but you know how I would

really say it, cause that’s how we talk! haha (: “Yessss!”

2010 SAHUARITA HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION 19

By Andrew Kneelandwww.sahuaritasun.com

Senior year highlight: My highlight would definitely be intern-ing for Congresswoman Giffords.College plan: ASU

Five-year outlook: I’m trying to de-cide whether to be a doctor or get involved in politics.

Jonathan Kalm

Senior year highlight: I would have to say my senior year highlight was somewhere be-tween discovering who my real friends are and

finding myself. They always tell you senior year is the fastest mov-ing year of your life ... they aren’t joking. I feel that because of those I chose to surround myself with, I am able to sit back, look at my accomplishments and smile.

College plans: I am moving to Day-

ton, Ohio, in June, where I’ll be going to Sinclair Community Col-lege. I’m planning on taking some English courses to further develop my writing skills and a journalism course to also further my skills, with hopes of maybe, one day, writing for some magazine or newspaper. I will also be taking some dance and singing classes.

Five-year outlook: I see myself at a successful place in my life, in five years, accomplishing things I’ve only ever dreamed of. My hopes are to be settled down somewhere, in a nice place, surrounded with happi-ness. And you can probably find me behind a coffee mug, writing some new headline.

Ashliegh Scott

Senior year highlight: Figuring out what I wanted to do in the foreseeable future with my life.College plans: I’m leav-

ing for Air Force BMT on Aug. 10,

I plan on getting at least my as-sociate’s in the next three years. I’m taking advantage of its (the Air Force) free education.

Five-year outlook: In four years I’ll be up for re-enlistment, I guess that’s when the rest of my future will begin to pan out.

Stephenie Strode

Senior highlight: It would probably be soc-cer season. It’s when I am more myself.College plans: My col-lege plans are to go to

Pima and do their pharmacy pro-gram and then possibly major in pharmacy and become a pharma-cist and minor in business.

Five-year outlook: My five-year outlook is to graduate college, become a pharmacy tech and/or pharmacist. And just do well for myself and possibly be in a decent relationship, hopefully out of Sa-huarita but probably not out of Arizona ... I want somewhere with

snow though :)Brittany Miller

Senior year highlight: My senior year high-light was probably ... not one single moment, but all the times people said, “Wait, you’re a se-

nior?!” to me. College plans: I’m enrolled at Mount

Holyoke College (in Massachu-setts), orientation starts Sept. 4.

Five-year outlook: I’m planning on obtaining a BA in education, with a certification in early childhood education. After college, I hope to teach in an under-served communi-ty while getting my post-graduate degree in educational leadership.

Emily Ortiz
