Kristie Chow ’20– Technical Lead

DENinResidence Living Learning Community Student 2016-2017

Iam passionate about making tangible changewith mytechnical skills,asIfirmlybelieve that the scope oftech andentrepreneurship should span further thansimple profit-making andbusiness.Ihave strong experience inthe tech industry, andwould like toexpand out ofstart-up culture tocontribute meaningfullytoMahjouba, toapproach tech from cultural andartistic perspective.Iam aninternational student, andhaving grown up inMalaysia,Thailand,Australia andChina,Ihave avaried perspective onlife indifferent cultural spaces, which Ithink would be useful when approaching an international crowdfundinginitiative.Furthermore,Ihave studied Geography inaformal academic settingfor mywhole life sofar, andhave therefore studied andexperimented withculture, setting, andartistic expression around the world.Iwould absolutely lovetointegrate myinterest inculture andinternational identitywith myexperiencewith technology.

Arjun Bhatt ’20– Creative Lead

DENinResidence Living Learning Community Student 2016-2017

Ibelieve I’d be the ideal candidate for the businessrolebecause Ihave alot ofknowledge ofintersectionality.Ihave experience dealing with finance, experiencewith art, andexperience with startups.I’m also informed about crowdfundingandalternative methods offinance rather than the traditional selling-a-good-for-money strategy.I’d be good asthe businesslead asIcould help connect thecrowdfunding campaign tovarious people andorganizations that’d be willing tosponsor such aproject. I’m incredibly driven, andonce Igetexcited aboutsomething there is literally nostopping me.This determination is mydefiningcharacteristic, andIreally dothink it makes me the ideal candidate.
