Hi I’m Courtney S. Portis

I am from Lincoln Park born and raised. North side of Chicago. I have always moved around but I always end right back in my neighborhood. I can't let this go because it brings back all my childhood memories and plus I know everybody.

HOBBIESMy hobbies are reading and watching Harry Potter. My favorite movie is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Music I am very diverse.

Hobbies

I was in a social club called Ladyz of Etiquette, every month we had to do community service, holidays for the kids. We always went to the shelter or go on the street and give lunches to the homeless people. We went to hospitals to give easter baskets to the disable. Which was awesome because they had the biggest smiles on their faces.

Volunteering

Treasure IslandTreasure Island was my second job. My mother best friend knew the manager and I was in just like that. I started off as a bagger my hourly wage was 5.50 working for 4 to 6 hour. I was making no money. I couldn't survive off this little pay and kept going up and down.

I.C StarsThe reason why I am a member of I.C Stars is because I push myself to

learn more then what I know. I need more under my belt then just being security or a bagger at a grocery store. I want to own my own business, I would love to make my own website and apps. I am striving to be the best leader as well. I.C Stars was the best choice for me and I am happy to be

apart of the team.
