ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS BOARD MEMBERS

Attached for your review and consideration are applications of residents interested in serving on the Adjustment and Appeals Board. Currently the Board has one full member and one alternate member with expired terms. Both of these members are interested in being reappointed for another three year term.

In addition to these requested reappointments, there are currently openings for two new members. The City has received applications from four additional residents interested in serving on this board. As you know, to assure a diverse membership on this Board, the City Council should, to the extent possible, appoint at least one member fiom each of the following areas:

1. An architect. 2. An engineer. 3. Two general contractors with combined expertise in building, plumbing, electrical, fire

safety and mechanical construction standards. 4. A member of the public.

For the Board to meet these criteria, it is in need of an engineer.
