The City of Raleigh Museum, located in the historic Briggs Building, showcases the building’s beautiful storefront as well as its original wood floors, tall ceilings and unique architectural details.
The museum’s lobby, first floor main gallery, and lower-level classroom are available to rent for weddings, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, receptions, birthday parties, seminars, workshops and more.
City of Raleigh Museum and Mordecai Square Associates’ members receive a 10 percent discount toward rental rates as do nonprofit agencies with 501(c)3 status.
In addition to the rental rate, other required rental fees include a $250 damage deposit (refundable) and an $80 professional cleaning fee. Optional fees include a $100 alcohol permit fee, a $75 audiovisual fee, and a $225 furniture setup fee.
